5 Tabs of Acid

Ok I'm getting 5 tabs this weekend for Alice and Wonderland, and I'm wondering how I should take them. The most I've had was 2, and I just popped them both in at the same time.

Should I pop all 5 in at once, or spread them out over a certain amount of time?
 
Depends if you can maintain a comfortable mindset, you wont know your limits unless you stretch them a bit, but try 3 if your uncertain at all
 
Sounds terrible to me. My rule of thumb when it comes to public places is to not take more than you are used to. If you've only taken 2 before, take 2. Who knows, those blotters could be stronger than you expect and by the peak you are trying to run the fuck out of the theater. I'd say wait till it comes out on the net if you are trying to take that much. Stay at home in your comfortable chair and blankets.

Really I say high dose psychedelics have no place in public (of course there are exceptions like music festivals and the like). Who knows what could happen. Seriously, psychedelics are no joke. If you aren't in comfertable zone, acid will take over your brain with negative thoughts. As you go up the scale in intensity/dose of psychedelics the ability to be manic seems to increase.
 
I've taken two tabs twice, and didn't trip in the slightest. Real buzzkill.

So I got fed up and decided I'm gonna try 5.

I'll probably take 3, and take the other 2 in the theater with me in case I gotta pack more punch
 
wow, wow, wow. If the tabs you've had before were bunk, that doesn't mean these are (assuming you aren't getting from the same shitty source). You could shoot yourself way over your head for such a situation. If you were planning on taking them at home or in a comfortable environment (aka not a public place), I'd say go for it and make sure you have a sitter with you.

If I randomly took 5 hits of acid i get around here with the expectation that you have, I'd probably end up going way farther than expect which can cause anxiety and anxiety on psychedelics are severely exacerbated.
 
IMHO, if you're looking for a serious psychedelic experience - a movie theatre is not the place to have it.

Unless you're certain of the potency of these tabs (doesn't sound like it), and you know that you can handle it, find a more private tripping locale. I'm almost positive you lack this certainty, however, as evidenced in this thread's very existence!

Also, a proper trip almost always consists of dancing, jumping, running, and laughing - all of which one cannot do in a theatre. ;)
 
I just have yet to have any real intense trips on acid. Only some decent visual trips. Nothing too strongly mental

Your definitely aloud to laugh at the movies man.

I agree with what others have said, try no to go too far over what your use to in public. Maybe have a test with 5 at home and see if you can handle it enough to go out on.
 
5 tabs? Sounds like shitty as LSD.

Im in aus and could take 1 strong hit of cid, and going into public would scare me a bit.

Anything over 2 and my whole mind feels 're-programmed' and I am in no control what so ever. I also get ego loss from it.

If the print your buying is the same as the last, then up your dosage just be aware because acid will own you if you fuck around with it.

If there a diff batch, take a test tab to be sure of there strength.
 
Take 1 first, sometime before the show, see how it is. Don't take them all at once. Don't go off someone else's experience unless you know and trust them as a tripper.

So, if you take 1 one night a week before you see the movie, if you feel like you can handle 4 for the movie, then do it. But only do it after you've tried the batch.

FYI 4 hits of acid will leave you going strong for 12h AT LEAST, "sreading out" acid generally lasts in a longer trip, significantly longer usually, so i don't recommend doing that unless you have recovery days set aside.

Think about the situation before you take a high dose of acid: what are you gonna do after the movie's over? How will you get home? Will you be capable of sitting still in the movie theater while tripping your balls off?

High doses are best done not in public :). If you've only taken 2 before, 4 or 5 is going to be pretty damn strong, especially if the batch is strong.

Oh, one other thing, would you be by yourself, or with a trip-buddy/sitter? I recommend having more sober people with you who can get you out/home!

Have any of your friends had the tabs you've got now? check your local forum here and check out the lsd info thread.

Taking 5 hits of acid of an unknown strength is asking for an asskicking

What does that mean? Maybe this batch is strong? You never know until you or someone you know has tripped on that exact batch (not one like it, but that exact one) LSD potency usually varies quite a bit, especially because it is sensitive to heat and light and can degrade from a variety of conditions. Maybe this batch was transported better than the other?

I've had "bunk" acid before, and also had acid where one hit took me to the heaviest trip i've ever had. You never know.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, just trying to emphasize that you should think carefully about this.
 
I say take three than if you want take 2 more when you peak. Some people say that that is a waste of LSD but I believe that under-dosing is better than overdosing.
 
OP: If you have to ask, you are not ready.

Please don't take 5 hits in such a public venue. Who knows how strong they are? As another poster stated, even if you have a ball at the movie, what about getting home? Make sure you are not driving.

You can have a lot more fun dosing in a secure comfortable surrounding rather than waste it on a movie at the theater.
