Now if you like the French New Wave, I can recommend you the british Z2 dvd of Godard's "Slow Motion" (Sauve qui peut (la vie) in original French). The french dvd has yet to be edited, but the british one is of very good quality, the image is crisp and clear for a 1979 film, with english subtitles, and last but not least, for the low price of 5.99 pounds at play.com. You can't go wrong with this masterpiece, provided you like intellectual French cinema. ;)

"Enter The Void"

Starts off with 15 minute DMT experience in Tokyo scene! Can't beat that! Trippy as fuck movie!

8o I've been dying to see that film, love Gaspar Noe, where did you see it?

was on as part of the jameson irish film festival last week!

highly recommended, but is tad long!

was a huge round of applause for a 'penis climaxing in a vagina' scene!!!!!!!!

few people walked, which is always a good sign!

hah sounds great :D
will probably have to wait until the northern lights film festival to see it here, suppose that's only a month

Watched a few films on the flights home.

Up In The Air - Starring George Clooney. Not bad, watchable, not very exciting though.

Fifty Dead Men Walking - Not too shabby, was falling asleep throughout though but what I saw was decent.

Hurt Locker - Was good but not as good as I'd expected with all the hype and award nominations it's received. Worth a watch still.

I forget what else I watched now but I'll update when I do.

My alltime fave movie, seen it over 40 times.

"Roger Ebert in his review for the Chicago Sun-Times wrote, "At the end of California Split we realize that Altman has made a lot more than a comedy about gambling; he's taken us into an American nightmare, and all the people we met along the way felt genuine and looked real," and praised it as "a great movie and it's a great experience, too."[4] Vincent Canby in the New York Times praised the film for being "dense with fine, idiosyncratic detail, a lot of which is supplied by Mr. Gould and Mr. Segal as well as by members of the excellent supporting cast."

Heres the classic intro....
