i smoke dank now, but i still appreciate the fact that lower quality can catch you by surprise.

had some thai stick back in '08 from Nonthaburi in Thailand, looked like shit, was really dark, smelled like a weird mix of opium and cinammon, (no opium at all tho
) but when i ground it up it was a HUGE amount and one bong got me super fucked.

Whats the deal with that thai stick stuff? I Bought some waaay back in '07 when it was all we had going round. It Looks mega shadey and unsmokable but once you get it down ya. mmmmmm.

There was a time when I could not have told danks from middies. I thought dro was the best fire around. I still know people who don't know beasters from real headies. It's all about the circles you run and the place you live. My best friend had never smoked heads because the rural area he is from grows there own outs all year round, they buy local and nothing comes through. When he came to Btown it was like a candy shop, and know he could tell you a hydro grown plant from an organgic by taste with good accuracy, something I can't say I can do.
The Thai stick you see in the UK tends to be cheap shite. Really compressed, not smelling nice, dry but oily, sometimes with the fucking strings from growing(?) left on it.
Real Thai stick on the other hand, looks quite nice going by pictures

i used to be the guy that had decent pot and i'd show it to people and they'd be like, "wow, that's some weed ya got there." then they'd pull out their ridiculous buds and put me to shame. now the tables have turned and i'm the one with all the good pot. sweet justice!

it looks shadey because its transported in canvas bags on boats and up some charlie's ass through asia and other means of transport that are riske.
but gets you high as fuck because it is 99% of the time established, steady pure strains
that have evolved over hundreds and hundreds of years, and grown by people who know what they're doing.

^ There were a couple times when we bought more than an 8th you'd get a string wrapped round it sometimes, fuck knows what colour it was though dude i'e smoked way too much since then.
