Smoking benzos laced in a blunt (Mike tyson)

ive heard here before that smoking benzos will have no effect, but i have smoked a blunt laced with a crushed bar (2mgs) and it definitely got me fucked up on another level from just a weed high. my question, is it 100 percent not possible to feel the effects from a benzo by smoking it, cus i sure did.

oh and its called a mike tyson because you will be TKO'd lol.
 
Its called placebo effect my friend. This ranks up there with the people who dip blunts in codeine cough syrup. This does not work and even if it did it wouldnt be worth the horrifying things a pill filled with binders will do to your lungs. Plus it probably makes the blunt taste like ass. Do yourself a favor and be nice to your body.
 
I believe at one time there was a benzo in the form of a gel, and it was heavily abused by applying it to plant material and allowing it to dry, then it was smoked. But it was pulled from the market because of the abuse rate.

The name of it eludes me at the moment.
 
I agree with the others... sounds like a placebo effect. As far as I know, most benzos can't be taken through inhalation. Insufflation maybe, but not inhalation. Pills aren't designed for that. Imagine what the binders/fillers could do to your lungs!
 
yeah who was talking about the benzo that was a gel, it was temazepam and people did smoke it. Dont know if it worked but it has been off the market for awhile now.

but yeah that was 100% placebo effect. Smoking is the most effective way to do most drugs, gets to your brain faster than IV. But your actually vaporizing most things when you smoke them. With pills the temperatures where it just combusts is toooo low, your just burnin' the good stuff up
 
I don't know for certain that the drug doesn't work if smoked, so I won't comment on that. I will say that it is entirely possible that you sucked in the unburned powder while drawing on the blunt though, which would certainly give you effects if you got enough of it in you!

Back in my noob days this guys laced a blunt with some xanax, and not only did it make the good bud in it taste like complete ass, I felt no difference in the high. A complete waste of xanax. Just eat them.
 
call me an idiot, but a guy i see 4 weed laced some of the clonazepam i traded him and told me it was getting him smashed in a good way.

Now after reading this thread i'd feel like an idiot to do it, but just before i went to chop more weed up i noticed i had about one cone/bowl left.... curiosity got the better of me so i went for my pill cutter and ended up with a little chunk from a 2mg tablet(about an eighth of a tablet) so .25 of a milligram of clonazepam at a guess. I powdered the chunk and mixed it in with a small amount of weed/tobacco mix. I ripped the bong and it wasn't noticeably harsher than normal.

Now i;ve sat down and tried to analyse any extra effects..... well it's given me a extra buzz for sure, but i'm not exactly liking it, i sort of feel on edge while head stoned more than normally. I mean i have a clonaz tolerance and are prescribed 100 2mg every 3 weeks 33 a week basically so it is a bit interesting, but at the same time i feel like my chest is a bit tight and can feel like my lungs have had some after feel, slight uncomfortableness.

My point is Clonazepam is the least tasting benzo i've ever come across, i mean xannax may taste like shit but clonaz tastes like nothing, like oxazepam but absolutely tasteless. I made a cup of tea with 8mg of clonaz and 1.5 teaspoons of sugar and oh my god. there's no chemical taste, just like normal tea. not suggesting anything, it's just that i like taking my benzo's with a cup of tea...it works with diazepam but you need like 3 sugars and even then you can notice it.

I don't know why i bumped this but having a 'not knock it til i try it' type approach? well kids.... don't waste your benzo's trying to smoke them with weed, make yourself a cup of tea instead%)
 
Many many years ago (like 10) when I was in my crazy drug phase, we tried smoking a crushed up lortab and it absolutely had an effect. It gave me an intense body high and I was stuck on the couch for hours! Definitely not placebo effect. I can't remember if we puut it on weed or smoked it alone (I had basically quit pot and didn't like smoking it at this point). I wouldn't reccomend smoking pain pills, but it definitely did something to me. It wasn't bad or anything but smoking pills is dumb lol. Words of wisdom ;)
 
It's stupid to smoke something with as good of bioavailability as benzos. That said I don't think we should assume it doesn't work at all. Where is the evidence benzos are destroyed by heat? I'm not saying they aren't, but I've never seen any evidence. People who haven't done it swear you can't smoke oxy. I would never do it unless it was someone else's pills and they insisted, but having been in exactly that situation I can say that anyone who says they won't get you high have never tried it.
 
BTW it is a sad commentary on the state of boxing that I guy who hasn't fought in years is still the face of the sport.

No, Temazepam is still on the market, it was never taken off the market and is still commonly prescribed. I never heard of people smoking it lol. That is retarded. What a waste of a drug that would have been better to just ingest orally. Higher oral BA

funny i thought the same thing when i read it,temaz has never stopped as far as the gel part i dont even know what thats about ,but i must agree that temaz are one of the most high absorbtion rates of most benzos ,,isnt it like 99 percent when taken oraly ????why would you even try to smoke the shit .not to mention it must taste like absolute shit..
And as far as apin pills and other benzos i have tried to smoke a few in my days and never once felt anything from the pills ,,,and they were hard to burn ..simply a waste,,,take as directed ,,unless yer snorting some good oxicontins then by all meens snort away even shoot it if that yer bag,,but most pills are a no go period....
