Would you say benzos are recreational?

At least 30 mgs of temaz to get that "oooooo-aaaaaa" feeling.

I can take just 20mg of ambien to feel buzzed with that definite body load and head tingle.

oh ok. I'll keep playing with the temazepam! I used to love some ambien! I was so crazy, lol, would look forward to going to bed every night.
 
They're less recreational than they are functional for me. I just keep some around in case someone becomes a danger to themselves or those around them while tripping. Thankfully I haven't had to use them for that. :)

Every now and then I've used them to sleep after LSD but I prefer kratom and cannabis for that as I get less amnesia that way.
 
I'd say benzo's are very recreational, not so much as the drugs they largely replaced "barbs" but, I still say there damn awesome, Xanax, Ativan, Diazepam are all nice, not so much euphoric as they are just feeling damn fine. I also find the nonbenzodiazapine class like ambien to be recreational as well.

do you say that because you have abused both barbiturates and benzos and find barbs to be more recreational?

yes I have tried Floricet which is (butalbital apap and caffeine) I found imo that it had a very obvious sense of euphoria compared to alprazolam or zolpidem.
 
Floricet is not the best barb to do, there is too many side efx from the caffeine when you try to abuse them.

Seconal is the best one still available. Phenobarbital is good to the experienced user because of long duration, so that was the shit as a anxiety back then, way better the clonazepam.

yea, i'd have to smack someone for adding caffeine to my sedative. but given what is in that pill, it is obviously not meant for sleep or anxiloticwhatever effects.

but you guys both abuse both classes of drugs and prefer barbs, huh? doesnt make me happy, hearing that. though i would not trade my benzos for these floricet pills. I'd like to think the hype about seconal and nembutal is because they are (mostly) gone now, because all the old junkie authors describe them as not particularly euphoric and best for mixing with paragoric or sleeping through withdrawal--like how junkies talk about benzos these days.
 
Yes, that is absolutely right, Seconal and codeine is the shit.
And Seconal is far from gone.
It just got back on the market again not too long ago.

say what? is it C-II? is it commonly scripted? am i gonna see it?!

what are they scripting it for? not anxiety. no way. and there are so many more options for a sleeping pill. doesnt seem like a pill that will get diverted often. scripted to people who need it, and even that probably wont happen often. maybe i am just being a pessimist and im gonna get to try seconal soon.

No, you have to go through all sleep test first and then when all the other sleep hypnotics (buckets of water) fail to put your fire out, Seconal is the fire department of sleep pills.
Way too serious to put in anyone's hands, even mine.

You have to be crazy or tolerant to take more than 200mgs of that shit on a first try.

technically benzodiazipines are mild anti convulsants . the fast acting ones are an epileptic's front line when the early signs of a seizure are sensed . they seem overprescribed for anxiety because the reputation for addiction/withdrawal rodeos .
a young femme fan of them calls them "tv pills" .
 
Barbs are for that too.
But they have an even stronger anti-convulsant power.

Benzos are a nail hammer, z-drugs are ball-pin hammers, somas are sledge hammers, and barbs are jackhammers.
Barbs are the everclear of the hypnotic world.
But, none the less, benzos are my "chill" drug of choice.

Will remove the stressful edge off of ant day.
 
Benzos are awesome. Particularly with booze (in moderation) or weed (no more paranoia!)

Only downside is the amnesia >.> particularly with the dirt-cheap-easy-to-get phenazepam..... the other week, i'd had a few drinks, my friend (who i'm in a physical relationship with) comes over, and we each had like 1mg phenazepam. Next we remember is waking up, naked, and we honestly couldn't figure out whether we'd had sex, or passed out before getting to the act. Was good times, but only because we were both intending to anyway.
 
I'd say that proper initiative to a good night would start by not having too much booze on them, for many lost nights have occurred here with me as well.

And trust me, you did more than 1 mg, as the tendency to redose is very hard to remember.

If you are anything like I , you most likely had at least 2-4mgs, and not on purpose.

favorite benzo for recreational use and dosage? lol. sorry, I'm curious. you seem to have experience with these things.

and re: booze and benzos... that amounted to total amnesia for me, hahaha.
 
50mg temazepam and 4 beers, seem to chill me out really well.

This is after 4 years of GABA-A drug abuse.

And, I meant "antsy day", just in case no one noticed my spelling error.
 
I always loved flunitrazepam and vodka. Though not much more than 2mg.

Halcion (triazolam) was just a blackout.
