I saw on erowid some weed reports catalogued as mystical or glowing experiences, but most of them was first encounters with weed or first experience on strong strains. Is it possible find a mystical/powerful experience on weed out of this first strong experiences?

almost certainly. weed was insanely psychedelic and visual for me for about the first 2 or 3 months I smoked. I'm talking patterns everywhere and personal/universal revelations coming a mile a minute. this was off of midgrade too, good stuff.

If I stop smoking for a 2 weeks or a month, it comes back but not with nearly the same intensity as my first couple dozen experiences with it.

That's a very complex subject but i would say: if you want you definetely can have glowing experiences (and even more) ;)

i used cannabis for 8 years without noting much of this quality of weed, but in the last weeks that changed and i'm enjoying it now more than ever and use it mostly only for meditation, well but even now as i'm typing i can see "the glowing" so yes cannabis can help a lot but it really is your mind that has the power :)

in this thread i wrote down 2 of my trips i had with cannabis in the last time:

good vibes

Yes, at least that's how it was for me the first few times I've tried it.

I wish I could still get that feeling. :(

I've had them but I did not get them when I first started smoking as back then it was mainly Mexipress schwag full of seeds and alright midgrade.

I'm not sure if drugs really teach you anything or perhaps I just know myself really well? I know that in the past I got information about myself that at the time I thought was true but it turned out to be totally false and I've had other friends who had the same thing happen to them with psychedelics.

All it takes is a low tolerance, quality cannabis, and the right set & setting. :)

What do you consider low tolerance? I vaporize about 0,2-0,3 grams of dried bud once a week. It is a good consumption pattern to achieve powerful experiences (with strong sativa strains)?

^Maybe a bit less than that to reach the really mind-blowing highs. Its much easier said than done, but if you could manage to abstain for a month, that would probably be ideal. Then get some dank headies for your first smoke after the break. :)

i have taken lsd shrooms mdma and other things but one of my strangest times was from weed alone.. it was september 1st 2001 and i was alone in my room when i saw a vision of the future - i saw a terrorist plot to launch a plane into the nyc trade towers and i felt very strange in a dream like state so i wrote a little song about it on my synth.. when it actually happened i was coming off of lsd and i didn't remember until days and days later that i had predicted it beforehand...

if you dont have a mystical adventure, then your doing one thing wrong, and only one thing......'your treating weed like a chore, and not like a treasure hunt' SO STOP TREATING IT LIKE A CHORE AND TREAT IT LIKE A TREASURE HUNT

I lol'd.

No, weed doesn't provide me with mystical experiences anymore, but it does provide me with some very memorable and heartwarming experiences with my friends and significant other. Weed also alievates pain in my jaw and reduces my headaches without giving me some shitty side effects. So, while not mystical like I would say LSD is, it is still a drug, and a powerful and important one.

Got some amazing weed in Peckham, South London, in 2001, which used to change my thinking and emotional patterns so much that I thought I was another person.

It wasn't scary in the least, but very enjoyable and interesting. Really clean stuff, did not leave any hangover whatsover. Wish I had asked what strain it was.

hehe good thing to hear, I would be satisfied with this :) I suppose that need more powerful strain... (I use mexican sativa...)

smoke weed is not a "job" for me as you suggest. I vape weed with respect and gladness but nothing too significant occur as my first two experience with unknown powerful strain. Can be the strain, can be the no-existent tolerance or both, but I do not understimate weed at all, it isn´t a job or boring routinary task for me...
