Would you use more or less weed if it were legal?

I don't smoke now due to drug screenings, but of it were legal then of coarse I would, if I could, dunno. P.S. my 50th post, I know you don't give a shit, but I'm happy about it.

actually 49th

Its been legal in Colorado for I think a year and a half... I know no one whom is smoking more than before the law passed.

Sort of a strange but legitimate question.

I know no one who started smoking because it became legal either.

Amazing paradox of actually ending a prohibition... very little changes except obviously the amount of people in jail.

Now i am just waiting for the US dollar to be made out of hemp again. <3

If it were legal I would most likely smoke the same amount since it is already fairly easy to obtain and I don't really worry all that much about getting caught. However, the only difference between its current scheduling and if it happened to be legalized were instances when I'm looking for a job and many of the employers test. I've taken quite a few months off as have other people I know in order to pass tests, if usage was legal regardless of medical use then those breaks wouldn't have happened. Most likely.

But we'll find out soon enough.

Probably less. Knowing the Australian government and its outrageously high taxes.

As for the legal/illegal debate. I always felt like all the illegal stuff was probably more likely to be worth trying (and now I know I was 100% correct). Of course the government is going to ban any drug type of thing that is not KNOWN to be useful pharmaceutically, and is just fun, or eye opening, or whatever. If pot were legal, I still would have ended up smoking a shit ton of it, but probably wouldn't have started until 5 years later than I did.

Anyway, my marijuana intake did not change one bit when I got my medical marijuana card - I don't see any reason why it would. It simply gave me increased peace of mind (not that it was big deal to Johnny Law in California to begin with), allowed me to to buy from a dispensary, and carry large amounts legally, while having zero impact on my usage - I literally smoked just as much/as often as I did before.
Pretty much the same here. Now a days is I don't freak out when my stash is low because I know I can always get premium grade during normal business hours right down the block. I also don't get "shady" feelings when I go cop. I also never have to "settle" for whatever happens to be around.

Life is so much better having a medical card it's ridiculous, but my use is the same.

Legal in what way?
Medicinal use; prescription

Probably the same as I do now. I have priorities, and smoking during bouts of important business isn't smart.

I will not change my smoking in response to cannibis being legalized. I learned how much I can smoke without fucking up school or work, so why smoke more than that?

all the time, getting my medical mj, like i did before coming to this ass-backwards state where just having paraphernalia (e.g. a pipe) can land you in prison for 3 years

i can't wait to go home...

For all intents and purposes, weed is basically as accessible to me as it would be if it were sold in stores. I pay the same price per eighth as the medical clubs in cali charge, and the weed I get is just as good.

There's WAY less variety, though-- usually just a few strains to choose from at a time; that's where the legality of pot really fucks me. If weed were legal, I would consume the same amount but i would constantly be trying different strains. Variety being the spice of life and all. :)

fennario aha, chronic city eh, never even heard of it, but if you say so

I would smoke a bit less, unless the legally sold stuff had alot of different choice in stains, if i could choose between sevral types that i could see and smell before hand, id go loony!

This would be the case. Instead of zs of headies I would buy 8th of all different stuff :). Full legalization would cause competition for the market place and lower prices from what the black market charges. I would smoke a bit more and make more cannabis things.

this is perfect i think. i normally buy small bags of weed now and try to stretch them until different is available. i feel that switching strains regularly keeps your tolerance low and keeps you higher overall.
