[Tour] Soundwave 2010 - Feb/Mar 2010 - Bris Syd Melb Adel Per

i'll be at the Sydney show!
last years line up was better for me but this years will be equally as fun!

looking foward to Placebo , Enter Shikari , TBS , Anthrax and a few others

and yeah the timetable seems less clashy
 
I really only like their Bleed American album, but I'm glad to hear they're coming. It's a shame about MCR though.
 
It sure is a shame to hear their faces weren't dissolved by acid and their jawbones usefully used as digging tools. By the way I'm listening to Frente right now before you, dear reader, interject.

If the second is Eat My Shadow it's kind of slow but I still like it. I saw her twice last year when she was doing a residency in Newtown. I saw someone that looked like her downstairs smoking cigarettes before a show and figured that it wasn't. No-one can have that awesome a voice and still be smoking at that age. It was her. Super cool!
 
Wow what a day! First of all highlights:

Was suppose to spend 5hrs ID wrist banding in exchange for free entry. Spent 4hrs bludging at the security check in point and still got free entry :P

* People littering, come on people, use the bins. What are you, like 5 years old? well okay there were quite a few kids there.... :|
 
Blerki: we saw a security guy walking around picking up rubbish without gloves or anything on at the Sydney one
 
^ poor guy! yeh I had a security guy asking me where the garbage collectors were because of broken glass.... I didn't see anyone picking up trash all day though. Oh well.
 
The bands at Soundwave were awesome but that venue is a nightmare.

Took me a solid 45 minutes to get there by car from the north shore and I paid about $40 in tolls there and back. The layout of the place involved walking up a mountain and then back down a mountain and having a cold beer meant you had to go into a fenced off cage and you could not leave until you finished said beer.

That was before 5:30 btw cos after that its light and mid strength beer only
 
Didn't go to Soundwave but I'm seeing The Weakerthans tonight. I'm pretty damn exited, been wanting to see them for years!
