I took kratom for seven days in a row. this is the second day being off of it, i have really weak legs and keep getting hot, cold, and the chills.

This is nothing compared to heroin withdrawal but it is annoying . I just want to know how much longer i'll be withdrawal .

Thanks in advance.

Kratom has always seemed to me to have a decently long halflife compared to stuff like heroin, fentanyl, or dilaudid, so I'd guess that the withdrawals would last anywhere from 4-6 days total. However I think you'd really need to use kratom for longer than a week to get any really noticable withdrawals that lasted as long as what I just stated. If you only used for a week, I'm not really sure how you're getting withdrawal symptoms, but I'd guess that you should be fine in a day or two. Its probably more psychological than anything, have you tried doing anything to keep your mind off the symptoms? Because my guess is you could probably ignore them to the point where they don't trouble you, as long as you keep busy.

hmmmm
Maybe i just got sick or something.
I dont know, it feels just like withdrawing.
similar to Heroin withdrawals.
Have you used for a week straight with no withdraws afterwards ?
I compared my symptoms with some Kratom withdrawal complaints online and they were pretty similar.

TBH, when I was doing kratom I did it daily for a couple months, so I can't say whether or not a week of use would give me withdrawals. I'm just saying that for a serious physical dependence to any opioid to develop, usually a longer timeframe is required. However, if you've been physically dependent on opioids/opiates before (you mentioned kicking heroin), then sometimes that can lower the amount of time to physical dependence with subsequent usage.

I see.
Yeah i kicked my oc/heroin habit 1 week and a half ago.
After my Opiate withdraws went away i started taking kratom about 3 times a day for a week.

Maybe i'm not withdrawing from kratom.. but for some reason i feel like i am in withdrawal. I havent used an opiate for 8 days.

Could the kratom possibly bring the Opiate withdraws back ?

having a past addiction is what's doing it, i'm almost 100% positive. when you take opiates they attach to specific receptors on your brain. when you have to start upping your dose to satisfy the high you are chasing, your brain actually grows more receptors for the excess chemical to cling to. when you down-dose or quit, the reason you withdrawal is because these receptors have become accustom to opiates clinging to them at a constant and now they are left naked and yearning for it. eventually the additional receptors will become useless and "die," which is when the physical withdrawals subside. the problem for past addicts is that the next time you decide to use, your brain recognizes it and associates it with the need for extra receptors. using for only a few consecutive days could cause the creation of more receptors when before it took months for your brain to do so. i know people who go through withdrawal after only a two day binge because they had dependency issues before (and this is after being sober for YEARS; keep in mind it's only eight days you have been off- which IS a long time, trust me i know & congrats btw, but just making a point). it's a pain in the ass but all good things come for a price.

Thanks guys.
I don't believe i am withdrawing from kratom, i think i was sick.
My legs were weak though as if i were w/d'ing so it was weird.
anyways, i think my problem is that i am used to feeling numb, so when im not on kratom or opiiates i feel my legs...and thats telling my brain that they are in pain for some reason, when they really aren't.
A big portion of W/d's are in your head. The mind is a powerful thing.

Im pretty sure the process is the other way around... When the brain is exposed to excess amounts of opiates the receptors down-regulate and reduce in number. When you kick and no-longer flood the brain with opiates there are fewer receptors present and so withdrawal sets in...

That is how other drugs/receptors behave but I may be completely wrong with opiates and you are indeed correct

please help! can someone help me with a taper schedule with kratom? it's the only thing that has helped my severe dep/anx but i'm hooked on it now. please help!

Your still having withdrawals from oxy. By taking kratom right after withdrawal it's bringing it back. The only way for your body to recover is to stop all intake of opiates, which is easier said then done. That being said it takes most people a couple of tries before they can kick for a good amount of time.

My advice would be stay busy and try to forget about it. In another week or two you'll feel better.
