i recently found out that a close junky friend has been stealing from me for some time without my noticing - although i have not taken a full inventory of my collection i know that he stole a couple grams of 2C-E and s-isomer ketamine - almost definitely more things than i know at the moment. stealing psychedelics seems totally antithetical to the (supposedly enlightening) experience but it is hardly uncommon. it all feels especially unjust when you understand there is nothing you can do because you have committed a crime owning them in the first place! anyone care to share some RC/psychedelic theft stories or try to cheer me up!:(

Can't think of anything to cheer you up but can tell you in all honesty that in my junky years I probably would've done the same - it's nothing personal when a junky steals from a friend bizarre as it sounds. Not something I like to recall but I did similar in my day and still feel the guilt - and did so at the time too. Intensely.

We do (or did in my case) sometimes steal from even close friends precisely because they are close friends and it's somehow easier than stealing from strangers (street robbery style). Fucked up junky logic (maybe a close friend would understand?) or plain ol' cowardice (maybe a close friend is less likely to get me arrested?) or maybe a bit of both. It's a shitty thing either way - I've been on both sides and it looks just as shitty whichever side your on :\

In stolen stash news, when local junkies tried to steal mine they came armed and dangerous and I was on 2C-E at the time. I thankfully got away during the 30-45 minutes it took the police to turn up, and I kept on running as fast as my chubby lil legs would carry me. Couple of lighter moments would be noticing the dozy fucks had cracked open a bottle of red wine vinegar and taken a swig (gotta love illiteracy :D) and the fact they cleared my fridge and freezer of food. With one exception - the box of frozen chicken fillets that my stash was stashed in :)
 
Stealing the 2ce baffles me a little bit.

Ketamine can be a very fiendish drug though. i never had someone flat out steal it from me but i gave some to a 'friend' when they were fiending, under the impression some sort of compensation would be returned at a later date, which never happened.
 
Some people use psychedelics for enlightenment.
Some use them to "get fucked up".
For someone who only uses them to get fucked up, stealing would not run counter to "the whole meaning" of the chemicals.

Try to remember to be kind and forgiving, though of course you should not allow the bastard to steal anything more from you!
 
^ That's stealing from a shop though - kinda different to stealing from friends. Stealing drugs from friends is bad enough but you can kinda understand it more if it's stealing opiates, stims or other addictive/fiendish drugs but psyches ain't like that which is why I'd be 99.9% sure these drugs were stolen to sell for opiates.
 
I have a similar but different story. I let a friend live w/ me cuz she was living in her car in the winter. My SO had an accident where he got into a drunken rage (rarely drinks) mixed with some benzos and lost touch w/ reality. He cut up his hand and had to be taken to the hospital. She said she will clean up. In a hurry I left my pain meds out which I need for pain. She took half of my month supply and I had to go through w/d for half the month. I knew I shouldnt have had her in my house and my family and friends were all against it but I felt bad for her and I've known her since 13. Now she's in jail for stealing some shit from the 90 years old lady she worked for, including the ladies xanax.

Sorry, not about psychs, but it sucks regardless especially cuz its ur friend. Mine was that much worse cuz it was meds I needed as I have a chronic pain condition.

I forgave her thou. Her parents really fucked her up. Getting to know her parents explains a lot of the fucked up things she does.

what do you sell 2ce as? seems like 2ce wouldn't have a big market and it would take a while to get said heroin.

yEH. How many people even find psyche's enjoyable out of the overall drug market? Out of them how many people "enjoy" 2c-e? Its sorta a niche or cult drug ya know. If you like the experience you like it but it isn't at all a fun drug. Its a rough experience so I can't see being able to sell it to very many people as 2c-e. Even among drug users I know very few other than those really into psyches even know what 2c(x) is so knowing about the effects of 2ce is even less likely!
 
Plenty of people like 2C-E. Take a few caps of 2C-E to a club, party, rave or whatever and I guarantee they'd be snapped up. Whether they'd be sold as 2C-E or otherwise (probably 2C-B or MDA) is another matter perhaps, but it would most definitely sell. How many junkies sell aspirin or paracetamol as "ecstasy" in clubs? A lot. Don't trust drugs bought from gaunt, shifty-looking, sweaty randoms ;)
 
I've had a bunch of LSD stolen from a friend of mine and myself. Quite a sad day. It sucks because you'd think no one you'd know or that is friends with would steal from you. Blah, lame.
 
True. Some people are assholes...
Not that like tweekers stealing from you are any better than anyone else stealing from you...
(I just have more experience with them)
 
I think what the OP is saying is that this isn't really a drug of addiction that you normally see this with.
But selling this = money = drug of addiction.
 
I say you invite him over all friendly-like, then pull a Col. Mustard in the study with a candlestick. Give the thief a solid beating while you calmly explain to him why you're doing it, how having your property stolen made you feel, and how you would like them to act in the future. Make sure they don't have a chance, if they're bigger than you, use a blunt weapon. Its important to remain kind to them while you are beating the shit out of them

Hold him hostage like Prof. Plum in the conservatory with a rope and don't give him any opiates for a couple weeks. When he's done withdrawing, let him go :P

(N.B.: I've never been addicted to anything, so it's very possible that a beating would be more humane.)
