I have yet to rave sober, the opportunity never really came up since someone always wanted to roll in our group so we all would. Perhaps with the right friends and event it would be pretty good. Its something that I want to try sometime though.

Surprising jobs?

So after reading another post ("Closet Rollers") mentioning ecstasy-users who may not come off as someone who would do drugs, I got to wondering what other Bluelighters do for work. Especially if you work in a place or a field that leans far away from the lovey, dovey, rolling-on-the-floor hedonistic high-out-of-your-mind kind of lifestyle or recreational choices (office workers, corporate guys, lawyers, you know)

I'm currently working as a care aid in a nursing home but will be starting school in a year or so for my BSc in Nursing to become an RN :)
 
I'm gonna start working at my fathers contruction company,I'm only 17 but according to my father I can be a supervisor for two weeks and make 17.50 per hour. Then if I'm confortable doing the job he'll raise my salary to 21.00 per hour. But remember I only get this jobs because my dad owns the company.
 
It's not a job yet but I'm working on a double major in psychology and sociology.
It seems I've been spending my life trying to convince people I'm not as innocent as I seem. Now, eh if it keeps people from looking twice and I can get a job in my field. I'm not worried.
For me the key is, if you are gonna be fucked up. Just stay home and be fucked up.
 
Why is it so suprising? Are we really supposed to believe that everyone who uses MDMA is at some sub par level of intelligence?

Those of us who use responsibly maintain our cognitive abilities because we understand the obvious consequence of doing otherwise.
 
I'm thinking about, I'm thinking about. Of course I want to go out there. Duh. But my spring break is all up in the air still.



God damn Coachella is almost three hundred dollars. And then with food, transportation, drugs and other expenses that'd put it well over three hundred. Hmmm....
 
I would love to go but I have to take a rain check this time no matter how good the line up is or how many kickass BLers are going to be there.

well amanda, if you come out for ultra, it'll be pretty cheap, if you dotn go to the event itself and just want to go to the hotel parties. i'm sure either matt2012 or vivid would be down for driving, or i've got a guy from the PD social who wants to hitchhike with me, and you'd be welcome to join. and i just want to party in the hotel with trippies and meet some other people (swerlz, ladyinthesky, samael, etc).

but you gotta figure it out quick. cuz i might just spend the whole weekend with somebody else ;)
as much as i would love to see all my old friends again, and make new ones, i'd much rather just spend time cuddling with her. i know two arent mutually exclusive, but if a plan isnt already in place by mid-march, it wont happen.

also, allow me to emphasize: HOTEL PARTY. fuck the event itself. the hotel party is where its at. ;)
