My seven year old nephew just sent me a facebook friend request. I think he's going to get a whole different view of Aunty UAN.

i finally got became a MCP today...

after years of lucking my way around in the IT industry... i can now say i have a qualification, even though it for an outdated OS (xp) i have something that says i can maybe know how to do something on a windows xp professional

i have also convinced my boss to get the MS Press MCSE Self paced trainging kit (http://www.dymocks.com.au/ProductDetails/ProductDetail.aspx?R=9780735622906)

so even though that is still for an outdated system, im setting myself a goal to by an MCSE by April next year... i would be over the moon, after that i could look at the MCITP tests for 2008 server and windows 7 etc...

from about 9pm on the 12th of feb... i will be pretty much living with my girlfriend, we will be going on holidays and when i get back, i will be moving in with her... not more long distance bullshit, i will be on a train for 5 hours a day... but i think in the end, it will be worth it

I <3 inside jokes that are still funny 3 years after you last told them.

so suprisingly... i had a fuckin awesome day at the big day out

kasabian, girl talk, rise against, calvin, MUSE!!!

best score of the big day out... being on ebay at 11... winning... 2 tickets... to... THEM CROOKED VULTURES... for the price of one

FUCK YEAH

My extra long weekend is making me smile.

Having extra days of with the boy:)

And BDO, even though the heat made me really sick there for a little while, I really enjoyed the day.

for some reason i never learned to drive. my mama is too incoherent to teach me and when i was 16 lessons were like $40 and i didnt have a car to learn in. lately i have been driving her wheels and it is awesome. driving is so much fun i should have done this before. anyone who knows me knows i am notorious for scamming lifts (several are probably reading this and nodding). that is now resolved. i bought a Harley and that was cool for a while but in a car i dont even have to pay attention. i will probably go into the licensing centre to get a permit but my driving is already pretty sweet because people honk to congrratulate me.

^ oooh do they still have that New Zealand Ice Cream joint on George street? It was a front for an internet cafe, I loved the chocolate thickshakes from there!

Not sure if there is still one on George st, but there is one near my work and they do this weird sushi ice cream called Sooshi which I have been meaning to try for ages.

I think the New Zealand Ice Cream place is still on George Street, in fact there are almost half-of-a-dozen at least spread across the CBD

The unfortunate thing for NZ Ice Cream however is that there are so many almost "boutique" (for lack of a better word) Ice Cream vendors around the area that the ole NZ has become a quite mainstream and bland

This year is going to be good for me (I'm being positive).

I'm working casually and studying. I'm studying locally so I'll be able to give back to the community (I used to work where the course is being run) There will be press releases, I'm going to do voluntary work, I'll have plenty of money coming in and keeping busy will keep me distracted from all the shit I have been dwelling on the last 12 months. I'll have time to keep my training up in the pool, on the bike and on the pavement.

Woo. Hoo. :)
