Who's going this year? And who are you going to see?
 
I can't justify the cost. I've seen Meshuggah, and I've seen Armored Saint, which means I don't need to see Anthrax as John Bush is the only appeal for me. So I'd essentially be paying a lot to see Faith No More. Might check out a side show, if any are on.
 
I'd like to go this year but don't think I can afford it. I'm seeing The Weakerthans on their side show at the Annandale. Perfect venue for such an intimate band. I'm excited!
 
It's going to be fantastic. I can't wait. I'm going to see Taking Back Sunday, Set Your Goals, Motion City Soundtrack, All Time Low, My Chemical Romance, Escape The Fate and A Day To Remember.

AFI, Alexisonfire and Placebo are bands I'm still considering seeing.

That may have came out more forecfully than I meant it. Don't take it personally, I insult everyone about their musical tastes all the time.

It's okay man, I understand how passionate people are about their music. For what its worth, if you like the original style of punk, you should check out Surprise Sex Attack, a local band from Perth. I think you might like them :)

And eggman, it certainly blew the stubble off my head, that's for sure. Maybe I'll grow some hair and we can try it again.
 
I've said it before and I'll say it again, best line up ever!!! I can't believe how many great bands they've got at a one day festival. And as far as I'm concerned there is only one or two minor clashes, fantastic time tabling as well!

I'm dying to see what Anti-Flag, AFI and HIM are like. I may have to sacrifice HIM cos they clash with someone else from memory but fuck me this is going to be a good festival =D

I'm going to the Adelaide one. Just because I've never been to Adelaide before. Anyone else going to Adelaide?? :D
 
^ That is exactly what I said when my mates convinced to go there rather than Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. All I can tell you is that there was very cheap flights available at the time so it's probably a place that no one wants to visit.
 
hopefully the metal set up in melb is better this year...
going to see Meshuggah, isis, clutch, baroness and faith no more... would of been cool to see eagles of death metal but they clash with isis...

realllly looking foward to isis and faith no more.
