All right, I'm at a new tapering point. 100mcg/dose. I am setting up the filtration process now. I'm using the same process in my mega thread, except I'm diluting it a bit further.

for the hydroxyzine do you use the pamoate or the hcl?

Edit: Vistaril (capsule)= pamoate, Atarax (tablet)=hcl

cuz i take 100mg of vistaril when ever i need it (which is almost never since i have diazepam now) so ive got like 300 vistaril capsules just sittin in my lock box.. anyway i heard someone on BL say the hcl was twice as strong as the pamoate and i dont understand how that can be because they're both the same drug just different forms.

its a really good potentiator for bupe.. and i guess for other opiates too.

Yeah I've taken it before to try to potentiate other opiates just because it's an anti-histamine and I figured it would work similar to benadryl (I took both). I don't see any reason to potentiate bupe though.

I was just asking CH what form he was using. Thats all.. and there are plenty of reasons to potentiate bupe.. 1 being so you can take less bupe so it would be cheaper to buy if you dont have insurance..

Atarax, which is hydroxyzine hcl. It's stronger than the pamoate I believe.

It is possible though man. A good example is how 0.3mg buprenorphine = 0.324mg buprenorphine hcl (the equivalency for 1ml of buprenex). In this case, the hcl is weaker (slightly).

Hydroxyzine hcl is where it's at. Just ask your doctor for Atarax if you would like to try the difference. 4mg IV concurrent with 100mcg of buprenorphine, after taking some temazepam = excellent.

I like to IV hydroxyzine hcl with buprenorphine.

I would not consider IVing hydroxyzine hcl without a micron filter though, it's not worth it (unlike Suboxone).

It's also great in combination with benzos as well as opiates.

Temazepam and hydroxyzine are the best adjuncts to buprenorphine I could possibly wish for.

It's 10x better than diphenhydramine hcl. Diphenhydramine hcl is a lot more sedating, and a lot less euphoria than hydroxyzine.

I mainly use IV hydroxyzine to potentiate temazepam, or other benzodiazepines by combining it with Suboxone for IV.

I just realized something.

I have been saying for a while now that I was using 125mcg/dose (down from 150mcg/dose). I actually found out I was wrong, I was using 80mcg/dose. In the micron filtering mega thread you can clearly see the bottle is all the way filled up (in the picture of the last step of the procedure) to the label and slightly above it - that's how full the unopened 30mL vials are.

I meant to use 19.2mL with 24mg to make 1.25mg/mL solution, but I goofed up on the math, and came up with 0.8mg/mL.

So the solution I made now, 1mg/mL, is stronger than before. Just slightly so. I can use 8 units to equate 10 units of the old solution, and when my 3/10CC syringes get here, it'll be easier to taper from 8 units down to 7, then 6, then 5 (there's half unit markings on them to make it easier) - so that the next batch I make can be half the potency.

I am tapering *a lot* quicker than I expected to on accident but it worked out well for me.

But yeah there's a lot of good reasons to potentiate buprenorphine with hydroxyzine. It's great if you want one last nice sedating shot before sleeping, and it's also good for anxiolytic relief (not to mention it also reduces itching, and can increase the analgesic properties of buprenorphine).

Regarding hydroxyzine- I'm interested in trying it out IVed. I've only taken it orally before with heroin and I was already high and had a ton of benadryl so I didn't really notice it. Off hand what's the oral BA of it for comparisson and I assume it's water soluble? I still haven't gotten microns or anything yet but I've been pretty happy with my syringe barrel stuffed with cotton filtering. I've got like 15 10mg tablets from a few years ago.

I'm cooking up a fentanyl patch to make a 4ml 1 unit = 5mcg solution and am curious about trying the IV hydroxyzine with it.

I would be REALLY careful if you really are thinking about IVing fentanyl.

The hydroxyzine pills have some crap in them that clog up the syringe I use if I try to filter too many at once, plus they're tiny. So I really would suggest a micron filter if at all possible.

The oral BA of hydroxyzine is high (80% something like that) however you probably want to start at 1/4 to 1/2 of an oral dose (or less), since it'll "hit you all at once" it's more potent that way.

1-2mg maybe. Doctors over prescribe it though, they may put someone on 8-16 when most people only need 2-8mg max.

I typically aim for 4-6mg, sometimes up to 10mg. Depending on how tired, potentiation, etc I'm aiming for.

If you want to try like 6-8mg for your first time it would give you a good feel for it.

Yeah I ended up doing 8-10mg and it was interesting, made me feel a little sick actually and gave me a bit of a headache for a few minutes it was a little strange. I feel good now after IVing 200mcg of fentanyl. I accidentally wasted the other 10-12mg or so I had filtered in a syringe thinking it was water left over in one of my filtering syringes. Oh well. I haven't decided if I like it or benadryl more, I kind of like the sedating side of benadryl, I'm trying to sense how it compares as a potentiator which is difficult since the fentanyl high is more of a subtle body high with no real rush and not as in your face as heroin or hydromorphone which I generally like to combine it with.

man , I've finally arrived to the conclusion that my GP must have a crush on me , how else can you explain him having prescribed me Dormonoct (Loprazolam)+Dormicum+Lexotan(bromazepam) simultaneously? By the way,I'd like to add that Loprazolam is hands down the most awesome benzo of all those I've tried,nearly as sedating as Midazolam but more euphoric (in lack of a better word)...1mg Loprazolam+25mg Hydroxyzine+2mgs Subutex+6mgs Bromazepam=the most awesome Subutex based cocktail ever !!

Also, how exactly do you snort these?

Do you slowly snort 1/2 to 1 mil at a time and leave it up there for as long as possible?

I know you need to try and not get a drip but if you are trying to have it all absorbed through the nose then does it take about as long as sublingual?

I wouldn't take cimetidine unless you're taking benzos other than temazepam.

No, buprenorphine will not lose its potency in water like heroin does.

I've had to hump legs to get 1/2 counts of the smallest dosage of a benzo...and I get shit for it.
