what happens to the smoke when you ghost it?

no chemistry.. just all that burning material sits in your lungs instead of you exhaling it... ghosting is bad for your lungs.
 
Your lungs absorbed the smoke.. There's nothing left to exhale. Embeds more garbage into your lungs. THC gets absorbed pretty quickly so there's no need to "ghost" it
 
ghosting is for people who realize they are too stupid to live and wanna do something about it. seriously, ghosting does nothing but damage to your lungs, 100% no extra effect from thc.

go smoke in a discreet place and you won't need to damage your lungs. seriously why would you NEED to smoke in a jack in the box?
 
Huh, I've always felt like holding in hits a bit longer has had some effect.

I usually exhale as quickly as I would with a cig, just saying... perhaps lack of oxygen and absorption of cbn
 
if you hold it in for 3 seconds or so, yes, more THC gets in your system than just exhaling straight away.

BUT, any more than 5 seconds and you are just doing bad damage to yourself.
 
do any of you have proof that its 5 seconds? cuz i really notice a difference between 5 and like 20
 
Yeah that extra effect your feeling is a totally different drug called placebo effect. Its your brain tricking itself into thinking that its getting more thc at 20 seconds than at 5. So you hold it in for 20 seconds and it feels like your higher because you think it will get you higher. But at the end of the day all your doing is fucking your lungs for nothing.
 
^ I'm sure the lack of oxygen and the cbns absorb at a different rate than thc. There are other factors at play. Do you have any sort of study or can you cite where you heard about this "5 second" rule? Why not 6 seconds?

Exactly, I don't do have to do it often, usually only when smoking inside and I don't want the house to reek of pot.
 
its in the range of 5 or 6 seconds, the medical studies and info on smoke (thc and normal) absorbtion is freely available, im just too much of a lazy stoner to pull up links for someone else.

pay 10 bucks into my paypal account and ill google whatever the fuck you want for a whole hour.


and at 20 seconds, after a lungful of smoke, it tends to be a headrush of oxygen deprivation.
sometimes i get this when im so baked and my breathing is shallow, and i forget that ive got a hit in my lungs!

so yeah, like the doc said in highschool-
remember to breathe.
 
^ Ah, that's the clarification I wanted -- oxygen deprivation is NOT placebo so I could see where such a myth could be birthed.
