JUDGE MY HASH - first attempt

Hey guys, i just finished making a bit of hash from a bit of leaf about 2 grams or so

i chopped it extremely finely put it through my fine steel mesh filter.

it made a brownish green powder which i wrapped it in cigarette packet plastic tightly the 3 pieces of 10cm x 10cm squares to wrap it again

i wet it in hot water till it was saturated

then i put it in the oven at 175 degrees Celsius for 2 minutes then i took it out and pressed it with a rolling pin and i repeated the wetting, cooking and pressing process twice

i put it in the fridge for 30 minutes and it was green , solid and flat
 
wow, we can judge it based on those non existent photos. but if the powder was brown green then you did it wrong, man.
if you have two knee high sacks then make bubblehash, instead of wasting time with this technique thats on youtube.
 
You shouldn't need to wet it to get it to press. Any high grade resin will press with enough heat and pressure.
 
Kief is hash whenever its compressed, its green just because it wasn't compressed with a great amount of heat.

I made hash the same way, but it was just from weed, I had a bunch of kief in the bottom of my tin I keep it in so I scraped it together and put it in wax paper and ran a lighter underneath it, it was still green and wasn't completely pressed.
 
No, it's green because it has plant matter in it. Ideally, hash would have nothing other than resin glands in it.
 
No but "judge my hash" rather leads one to believe that they're going to have some basis to judge it on other than a description of the technique you used to make it. Which wasn't good. I didn't notice you said that you used chopped leaf-that ain't the way. What you've made isn't even really hash, it's compressed leaf. Hash-making involves separation of resin glands from plant matter, and then pressing the resin into a piece of hash. You've just bashed some leaves into a block, and I hope you've done it for your own benefit and aren't going to rip someone off with it.

if it had been crystal instead of plant matter, yes, he would have gotten good hash.
but due to the fact it didnt press and was a brown/green powder, just no.

as i said, if youve got two knee high sacks of trim, and you can afford to spend 100$ on a grow room, spend $101 on a 4 bag, 1 gallon bubblebag setup.

all you can make is profit then.
if youve spent no money you are making money for free, which is pretty hard to do in the drugs market these days.
 
You got given the leaf cos it's basically worthless. If you want to use it, you'd be better off making cannabutter with it.
