Tobacco spliffs in the UK/Europe

I gave up tobacco using herbal/nicotine free cigarettes which you can buy in some chemists(UK). They are a bit stinky, but well worth it in the long run.

IMO neat weed joints are the best as you get a pure hit without the horrible sensation of nicotine.

I do that too. Ever since I started smoking I've mixed it with tobacco. To me it is just a different high, and a different smoke. Some of my friends like to only put tobacco in joints though.
 
^Quite a lot of people in the UK do that, its called "bong mix", we also smoke shotties, which is a bong with a straight tube plugged with baccy rather than a bowl. Once the weed's burned, the baccy cherries pops down the tube, clearing the chamber.
 
Yeah I smoke my bongs like that, the hole in my bowl is big enough to put a piece of cut off cigarette in there to act as a plug.

i would imagine if you're using a vaporizer then you would be doing so so as to get a pure thc high.

plus, tobacco would make your balloons stink :P

The taste ain't so bad if you change the water every now and again, but most people leave theirs til its black and lumpy. I used to be a hardcore shottie fiend, I'm from the South West where the whole thing started. IME they're not as big in the rest of the country, but Somerset/Devon/Cornwall they're almost as common as joints.
 
Yeah, I'm a tobacco smoker now, along with a lot of my friends who started smoking it with weed. The problem is, when you're a kid you think "I won't bet addicted to the baccy, I only blaze every couple of weeks", but eventually you're smoking everyday. You end up smoking way more weed than you normally would, too, cause you get the craving and just associate it with shottie time.
Hey, I'm from the South West, not the South. Don't tar me with the same brush as those Cockney cunts. ;)

That's not really true. A pure joint will often go out if you don't draw on it for a little while, whereas a joint which is spun with tobacco will continue burning for much longer meaning you waste weed.

I mix mine with tobacco because that's what everyone here does, and when I used to roll pure joints and send them around a circle of people the joint wouldn't make it to the end, and everyone that did have a toke would be so fucked they couldn't talk because they're not used to pure weed. I prefer it straight but I'm used to spin now and my tolerance is a lot lower because of that which is good.
 
^It goes out often, but while it lits each toke burns the joint down quite far. Also, with tobacco in it the joint is much bigger so takes longer to smoke. I just don't feel chilled with a weed joint, you have to furiously toke on it or keep lighting it and its gone too quick.
