that doesnt always work, sometimes i can smoke alot one night and be fine then for instance other times i would just have a few puffs and i would feel anxious, its sometimes unpredictable but other times you can tell by the way you are feeling, i think if you think about it too much in teh day knowing your going to smoke and then you start thinking that you could have an attack then you most likely will but if you have had a pretty good day where you feel relaxed already and your not thinking about having an anxiety attack then you will most likely be fine, its all in the head.
I was well stoned one time, had been smoking all night and wasnt thinking about anxiety attacks, then suddenly it just jumped in my head that i could have one, guess what i started to have one there and then, so i decided i would try and control it by controlling my thoughts, and it worked, i started to watch a comedy to make me laugh rather than think about the attack i was starting to have, i also thought to my self that it was only my thoughts that was causing it and nothing else like my health etc so if you can take control of your thoughts and feelings i think you can take control of you anxiety attacks, it took me years to actually manage to control them to be honest, but thats becuase i didnt know that i could, but now that ive told you that you can take control of them you can start trying to, its all about thinking happy thoughts and trying to take your thoughts away from the anxiety, fair enough sometimes attacks can be very strong and full on and very hard to take your mind off of it but the more you try the more control you will gain each time.
hope this helps you
