Ppl who throw out your drugs to "help" you

Has this every happened to anyone else?

They search your room and find your drugs and just throw them out because they say they are helping you. Shur they are trying to help and they do care,,,but there are other ways then that.

Last night my mom was at my apt, and she was looking through my room and shit with out me knowing.

She found 2c-t-7, 2c-i, 2c-c, 2c-e, 5-meo-dmt, LSD.... And she just flushed them all down toilet.ugh that sucks..
 
if it was my mom or dad who threw it away then whatever you know, but anybody else id probably lose it if it was any sizeable amount. Just recently one of my friends was really drunk (also an opiate addict) and this guy took all her OCs from her claiming it was so she wouldnt accidentaly OD, then he did them all and when she woke up she didnt remember much and thought she just misplaced them. Whats really fucked about the whole thing is the guy that stole the pills knew that she didnt have money for more and would end up sick the next day without them.

yea about 2 1/2 years ago when i first started gettin into opiates i had a connect on morphine and hydromorphone for awhile. i had also gotten to try OC for the first time and had gotten it from a friend who was RX'd some 20s after surgery

he gave me a few inside the bottle that had his name scratched off which said OxyContin on it and had used it to store my other drugs and inside i had a little green bag with 6 4mg Hydromorphones and 2 30mg morphine IR. she never said a word to me about it. until recently when i started Suboxone treatment and told me parents everything (just about)
 
haha yes, that's a different story. I hadnt really thought about my parents or close relatives when it came to this thread, more of my friends and what not as theyve always been the ones who have taken an interest in my addictions and habits rather than my family (as my family is so naive they dont know what the hell is going on, although I suspect that they suspect as there have been many "close calls")

I moved out when I turned 18. And I:m just back for this month and she:s already started searching my shit....
 
If somebody did that to me, murder would be done.

Especially considering the price of drugs where I live... they don't come cheap.
 
My parents caught me using drugs once, and I had to throw out a good $350 worth of drugs :!.
 
i don't think my parents would throw any drugs i had away. they might possibly take some of them so i didn't have such a surplus on hand, but i would easily be able to re-attain them. if anyone was going to do something like this to me, it would be my friends. they all seem to think i have this huge problem and i need therapy and rehabilitation and all that other jazz. they're idiots. if someone were to do this to me, they'd be paying up- that's for sure. whether they gave me the money owed by choice or if i had to steal it from them, or beat the hell out of them- i'd find a way to get the amount of what had been destroyed!

i don't think actions like this provide any form of "help" to people taking drugs recreationally or out of addiction. if anything it just further ruins relationships with the people doing it and puts the 'victim' out because they have to spend even more money to reup. if they lack the funds to do that, then they have to suffer through withdrawals which can, in some instances, be fatal. not exactly the intended help they were trying to provide! if i was forced to go through withdrawal due to someone's asshole actions like this, i would definitely consider killing someone!
 
I am horrified that I ever did this, but when I was a kid, I used to crush up my mom's cigarettes and throw them away. :o

It would piss me off to no end if anyone ever threw anything like that of mine away! My grandma used to hide liquor from me back in my drinking days, but I'd just go out and get more, and eventually would find it. :p

It's just stupid! You throw away someone's drugs or alcohol, you still have an addict on your hands, but now you have a pissed off, jonesing, raging addict. Really, really stupid move. :X
 
They are assholes. Drugs cost money. Throwing away someone's valuables is an awful thing to do. My parents did it to me in high school but I was a kid and in their house so I can't blame them for tossing my weed when they found it. If someone did it to me now I'd take their tv, smash it, and ask them how that makes them feel.
 
I've had some weed taken away from me by my parents. I asked for the bag back, explaining that taking away my weed would only cause me to have to pay for another bag, and risk getting caught copping it. They didn't give it back to me, but when I was looking for it the next day through their drawers and found a different bag of weed and my brothers glass bowls that had been taken away over the years. I took all of it without even thinking twice.
 
Back when i lived with my parents my mom found my bong and a ~1g of 2c-i.

Surprisingly she let me keep it when i explained it wasnt coke and that it was a psychedelic i used for entheogenic purposes :D

ggetting drugs thrown away would suck.
 
50 decent e pills. Dont ever let your folks know the scale of your use, they do screw ball things.
 
I've had close calls when a minor but man, I was real good about that. If it came down to it I probably would have hit my dad to keep a dub. Not trying to sound hard, that's just how much of a dumb pothead I was in hs lol.

If I got caught and they were gonna flush it I'd always yell and be like "you guys saw me work my ass off for that money and now you're gonna throw it all away?!" or whatever.
 
Worst my parents have thrown out was weed but now they just accept that I do drugs and don't search my room anymore, they just don't want me doing them in front of them.
 
My stepmom used to search my room randomly when I was in high school and pretty much every time she would find weed, and a couple times she found a bubbler. Every time she threw what she found away. The last time she did it I just didn't come home and she called me asking where I was and when I was coming home. I asked her if she had taken my weed and she said yes, so I told her I wasn't coming home unless she agreed to stop searching my room. As rediculous as that sounds, she's such a dumb bitch it actually worked, because I told her by throwing out my goods it wasn't going to stop me. I had a job and a car and I could easily replace anything she threw away so in the end she was just making me waste more of my money on drugs and she bought that and didn't search my room the rest of the year lol :D
