how to find a rolling crew?

Ok guys, all my friends are cool with me rollling, and even got two of them to come to see pretty lights on nye with me (ABSOLUTELY AWESOME) but one was drunk the other was trippin on shrooms but didnt tell me till later.

Anyways ya'll talk about these like gatherings of friends where you partake of psychs and molly and just rofl around and have a good time. Dont get me wrong im social at like raves and shit, every show i go to i make friends with everyone around me XD. But i want to do that in a more private setting. No drama, not that teen "hahaha lets get fucked up together" just a good chill lets all feel the good vibes and melt into the cuddle puddle. God thats what i dream of. And i have the access to the drugs just not the people.

so ED, how did you find your group of friends that you trip/roll with.

ps for example....within the next month i have a nite that i plan on eating 5 hoffmans an 8th of booms and ill have a g of molly to play with, id like to have other people i feel comfortable sharing that with. I had one other person but now he kinda scares me when he does psychs

no but do you reallly wanna roll with ppls u dont kno that well...for me its a big NO...unless they're all girls and no shitty music when im rolling...only hardstyle, euro and techno remixes of top 40...or if your a chicagoan just turn on 103.5
 
for real if your gonna be taking drugs that have such a psychological impact you should be taking them with your real good trusted friends not someone you dont know and could careless about you

i find it odd that people have such a hard time building a good druggie crew. it's not much of a mystery. if you wanted to start a basketball team, wouldn't you hang out at gyms and parks and other places where people play ball for fun? philosophy club hopefuls might take academic classes, attend lectures and workshops, etc. the formula is essentially the same for any interest. if you want drug buddies, find out where the party people hang out, make friends, and then invite your favorites to a private event where you all indulge together.

it can take time to find the right people so be patient. sure you could probably find willing participants online, but it's better to wait to do this with people you really connect with rather than internet randoms who probably just want to eat your drugs.

again, go to places where party people hang out. bars, clubs, raves, underground events, festivals, concerts, afterparties... unless you live in the middle of nowhere, i'm sure there are some dance music events reasonably close to you. identify the right social settings, show up, and start talking to people. nobody had the perfect crew fall out of the sky and land in their living room - we all had to make the effort.

thank you for your advice, im going to try and make it to this smaller like undergroud electro thing in chicago this thursday and start making it out there more often to form a group of friends XP

the scene there is bumpin like crazy...not high school kids c'mon, plus the strip clubs all over that lil' block are bumpin' 2 there all 21 and over but if u 21 its fun to roll at the strip club...but definitely NRG on thursday night or sunday night...

that's so funny, i once had the idea of remixing 'the final countdown' too but then i saw pleasurehead play (don't judge - a friend was opening) and he beat me to it so i abandoned the project. derek can rock his own version though, that's especially proper if he dropped it on nye :D

now that i know you're in chicago, i feel even more confident in saying you shouldn't have much trouble if you can be even slightly patient. there's a significant counterculture scene in chicago - look for the burning man enthusiasts - and i know for a fact people who share your interests are partying all over the city.

Actually, the broes my friend and I hang with got connected through chance encounter. My friend has this big ass crystal shard on a hemp necklace, and as he was passing this d00d by, the guy complimented his necklace. My friend noticed he had some kandy bracelet on and the conversation moved to drugs and music which then led us to discover this d00d knows all of the raves and psytrance parties in this area :).
