At precisely midnight on January 1, 2010, U.S. Eastern time, Chris Cornell posted on his Twitter and Facebook: "The 12 year break is over & school is back in session. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!", with a link to the newly designed www.soundgardenworld.com, which features a brand new music video for their 1989 song "Get On The Snake"[71][72][73][74] No further details have been announced.

I'd be interested in seeing them although they were never my favorite grunge act. I'm wondering how Matt Cameron is gonna manage touring with them.

I doubt they put up anything significant...I was listening to whatever the fuck album Jesus Christ Pose is on the other day...it was decent but I think Chris is like over the hill now. Plus, grunge is dead.

^^
A) Badmotorfinger
B) It doesn't matter how old someone is, they can still fucking rock. Prime examples: Eddie Vedder, John Paul Jones, Mike Patton, I could go on and on...
C) The grunge scene may be dead but the people who love it are still alive and kickin'
D) I have Jesus Christ Pose in my head now, thank you :)

I definitely agree with you on Eddie Veddar...need to download the new P/J pronto...they blew my mind live like 2 years ago. Yea yea...fucking new Alice in Chains lol...they should've picked a new name no Layne no chains.

yeah....i don't really care about which genre a band fits into. if i like the music then i like the music.

anyway, there are rumours that this reunion might actually be a rumour.

it's been theorized that they aren't actually getting back together, and that they are just releasing a bunch of unreleased material.

Rumors about rumors? Retarded.

How is the reunion a rumor when it came from Chris Cornell's mouth (rather his twitter account)? You don't need to get a band back together to release unreleased material.

i was making a joke.

i have no idea what he said on his twitter account.

That's what you posted, dude! ;)

Anyway, sorry I missed the joke.

^^ True :)

rttt, you must get PJ's new album, it's pretty good considering they've been at it for 20 years. They've been TOTALLY rocking in their concerts as well <3

Will he tour with them, if/when it happens? He'd probably still be touring with PJ. Maybe SG will get a ring-in drummer...pure speculation of course :D

as far as what he posted on his twitter account....it's pretty vague.

when i said "i have no idea what he said on his twitter account" i thought you were refering to a new quote he left....which he didn't.
