I loved Lord of the Rings - incredible piece of work. King Kong though...

My comment was lamenting his switch from making original, clever and inventive films to spending the GDP of several African nations to make something that's a technical marvel, totally faithful to the book and still somehow soulless. And I like it LOTR.

I just wish he'd stop with the budget of soul and make something that stands out from the generic blockbuster shite. He could do amazing things... just chooses to work on dull, massively overblown, ego-massages recently. It's a shame given his obvious skills to waste them on films by numbers that you can only identify as his cos they go on for far too long and leave you a lil bit dead inside.

Course I've seen meet the feebles....think it may have been a film 4 treat when I had ondigital for free in 2000. Watched a load of debased and downright correct shit.

Haven't watched nor can I be arsed with Kong, I am the sick bastard who thinks the 78 version is classic as its so wrong, and the original is classic cos IT FUCKING WELL IS.

I have been watching horror films....oh wait, I mean for 3 days at my cave I watched them as I went through withdrawals. Then back to parents and I am nearly "The real me" and I think that I'm supposed to stay till Sun some time.

I don't want to be using it, but firefox has crashed on me twice now and thats 3 films I've lost.
I'll go back to mozilla and see if I can find some software that doesn't crash the shit out of downloads...I was only using there own download tool with some fucking youtube shit and bang bang twice incapacitated and it said I had 100% cpu usuage.
This is not my pc to destroy

Even I can work FF, BB. Surely you can manage? You can at least keep a computer functioning for more than a month at a stretch anyway. Why bother downloading shit quality stuff from PooToob rather than the mp3 or mpeg or whatever? Torrentz perhaps?

Some FF addons don't play nice together and break it but reinstalling it and only adding addons that are up to date and don't conflict does the trick

It doesn't fucking matter what I download using the alleged helper it crashes each time.I got the new version of it today, now could that JUST POSSIBLY be why its turned its back on me.
Anyway I've got a new little piece of freeware http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
And am utilising it now and seems to be smooth and ok. It seems to have the capacity to download illegal things also but I wouldn't know about that.

Watched Inglorious Basterds the other night..

Best Tarentino in a while IMO. Didn't like his last one Deathproof/ Grindhouse Planet Terror.
Thought Inglorious Basterds was genius though. Was pretty skeptical at first but really enjoyed it.. Was kind of like one of Tarentino's early films but a totally different subject. Pity the war never really ended that way :D

Also watched Miami Vice last night.. Was also skeptical of this one because I really did think it would be crap. Was pretty decent though, worth a watch

I liked Deathproof, but the Grindhouse stuff isn't my sort of thing.

I really enjoyed Inglorious Basterds, I thought it was spankin'. I was waiting the whole film for the obligatory foot lover's scene which he has in all of his films. I thought it was going to come, then POW..right in the kisser :D

watched 'Watchmen' the other night, it was amazingly good.

it lasts about 3 hours and i just wanted it to keep going. very dark and violent. Rorschach in prison... hahaha! :D

easily as good as The Dark Knight, i reckon.

Each to their own, but i thought it was one of the worst films i have ever seen!

For tonight, i would suggest King of New York. It's fuck all like the films you mentioned, but then again it's actually a fucking good film, unlike that dicaprio rubbish!
