Mephedrone Megathread VII: Misunderstood Marvels & Malingering Metabolites

I mean college not school. I say heart pain because it's centre left of my chest always and sort of assume that would be my heart, and not a random pain in a section of my left lung. Not so much now (which hopefully is a sign that it's getting better) the pain would be, as it is now, a dull constant pain but then every ~5min I would get a sharp spasm, sorta felt like my heart was going to explode. I saw my doctor whilst this was happening (about 3 and half weeks ago). Being useless and me even having to tell her what mephedrone is, she just said it was probably a build up of acid - some sort of heartburn like thing and would go away soon, for safe measures she pescribed me a stomach-acid-pump-inhibitor, pill for 14 days, hasn't really helped. And although at the time my stomach was also in severe pain and that has now stopped, I think that will have been becasue I had a very heavy weekened of chemies and then this 7g in 3 days and my stomach was probably struggling to deal with the toxcity. I am going to go see my doctor again this week.

Or could also be pains caused by a certain muscle unrelated to the heart, dont remember exactly what it was, but i do know sometimes it turned out to be that instead of the hearth.

Well that would be good..I'm guessing they go away with time? My chemical usage was a bit to high for just under 2 months before 4 weeks ago :/

Depends really. I've had it on and off for several years. Been taking renitidene for about 2 years which defo helps, but caining it too much just makes things worse again.

In that time i've had a heart scan and several ECG's, and never had anything bad show up.

Ignore that question actually, i'll look it up myself. Well aside from the chest pain, all other negatives from the binge have been cured someway or another. Although relying benzos was a bit foolish but managed to get hold of some melatonin and that seems to do the job. Back to the tired and depressing life of fairly standard CFS =).

It happened to me for the first time on saturday night oddly enough. Myself and my mate got back to his on saturday night after a house party and got quite bored waiting on 2 of our mates that were due to call round so I put out 2 lines, probably about 350mg each (I was still very much awake and all go at this point), about 30mins after sniffing the line I felt really tired and was fighting to even keep my eyes open so decided just to go with the flow and go to sleep. Wasn't impressed when I woke up either.. I wanted to party more

Although relying benzos was a bit foolish but managed to get hold of some melatonin and that seems to do the job. Back to the tired and depressing life of fairly standard CFS =).

I've never taken a benzo in my life. Only thing me or my mates have ever used for comedowns is booze and weed. I don't even smoke weed anymore, apart from very odd occasions.

Well I've had something akin to insomnia for the last few weeks since I stopped, possibly my sleep cycle was just really fucked up, which the melatonin has 'cured'.

I used valium during the 3 days I did 7g and it was the first and last time; i dont really like the idea of benzos. K works aswell though, but then mixing k and mmcat seems to get bad press.

K just makes the insomnia worse for me, benzos all the way when possible. Weed and booze work aswel

After I come out of my k-hole/when k affects wear off, I seem to be able to sleep. Though normally I might aswell have just not done anything in that case. Thou spending an hour wishing i was asleep is a lot less fun than being in a hole.

It more than like is acid reflux of some sort - most stimulants increase the production of stomach acid. This, IMO, combined with meph's trait to put the whole GI system into a a bit of a spasm will result in the aforementioned acid reflux. Try to avoid acidic drinks like orange juice when you are using meph - but keep yourself hydrated. Obviously, water is good as it will slightly neutralise the acid in your stomach.

The PPI you were prescribed (Esomeprazole, Omeprazole, Lansoprazole) will more than likely sort it - and should prevent you from having similar pains in the future after using meph. The medication should take about 5-7 days to kick in - what dosage did they put you on?

You'll end up farting more though as proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole etc) reduce the breakdown of food (the reason your stomach is acidic in the first place) so there's more for the bacteria in your gut to munch on & produce noxious gases!

I find if i've been up all night the previous night, then i sleep like a baby the next night, even if i've been necking stims.

I find that Meph can make me feel really sick the next day to the point of throwing up if I've been a pig on the stuff.

This may be just me as towards the end of my MDMA use I would always feel like throwing up for a couple of days after and if i used anything more than about 300mg I'd be throwing up all day.

Anyone got any advice on how to minimise the nausia ?

Lansoprazole 15mg (I think, it was 2 weeks ago..) 1x daily for 14 days.

The UK coke thread just made me realise, that literally the only drug done in my area is now Mephedrone. On NYE, aside from me and my girlfriend, literally everyone (the 300+ or so people I saw) was on drone. People don't even fucking smoke weed anymore. And good Coke/Mandy is impossible to get hold of unless I travel to London.
