New Alice in Wonderland - What will you be tripping on?

I usually go with 2ci at movies -- doesn't make me too twitchy or uncomfortable and the movie leaks out the edges of the screen and takes over the theater :)

4-aco-dmt would be my second choice, followed by a light hit of acid -- which can be awesome, if you don't worry about laughing loudly at the wrong times.

Best movie ever was 3-D imax space shuttle movie on mushrooms. We had such a good time that we did it 3x over 2 days.
 
This film comes out around my birthday.... so I'm thinking four hits of WoW and a nice day out at the park... and when I plateau... go see this film. :D I've been planning this trip for nearly a year... lol.

P.S. You guys haven't seen me in a while... sorry. Working for the state.... staying busy.... not to mention losing my "sobriety" and relapsing into benzo/opiate addiction.... I've been snorting like 10 4mg hydromorphones a night... or 2 20mg oxymorphones... that and way too many bars and somas... mix it all together with thousands of dollars being spent... and I'm right back to an addict. I tripped three nights ago on 4-aco-dmt and am getting my life straight again. Been sober since... going to keep tripping (I don't consider mind-altering drugs addictive... just mood altering ones...) but I've almost lost my job and I did lose my fiancee... been dating for 5 years... wasn't being honest and was hiding my drug usage... told her the truth... that ended that. Merry Christmas and lots of love to all of you!

What are WoW hits? Heard them mentioned around these corners a few times now.

Sometimes it takes a good psychedelic trip to get your life on track. Wish you all the luck. Just remember you can beat the opiates.

This looks really good didn't even know it was coming out. The last time I went to the cinema tripping was Philadelphia in 93, freaked out and had to leave!

That movie was on t.v. recently and my only question is WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU GO SEE PHILADELPHIA WHILE TRIPPING OUT!?!? 8o

That is an awkward trip waiting to happen my friend!

Now redeem yourself by dropping acid and seeing Alice in Wonderland! Haste! Stat!
 
After seeing a mate on 2C-TFM at a Hawkwind concert recently, I'd say it'd be the perfect psychedelic for cinemasie very little visual distortion, all mental processing type stuff.

Years ago, I went with an ex to see Tron at the cinema after eating a load of morning glory seeds; Geoff Bridges wasn't the only one reduced to tiny bits by the laser uptake scene! =D

PS Shammy, you still got those cats? You must have had them ages

I honestly don't know why I went to watch it. Can't remember what else was on. It was some part of the film where a neddle was shown and (I don't like neddles) that just put me over the edge. I was only young, you live and learn:) Alice in Wonderland sounds awesome though.
 
The closest I'd ever get to "watching" Alice is to listen to an audiobook of Carroll's text. I stress text because the magic of the Alice books is in the writing - the thing is full of logical fallacies and tricks that are simply and utterly unfit for the Screen.

I wouldn't go see that movie if you payed me, let alone trip while doing so!

sooo question, the only time i semi-tried watching a movie on acid i just wasn't into it a just felt to like "disassociated" from the movie and just wasn't feeling it, not like bad but i just didn't care about the film. So do alot of you guys get that? or if your stoked to see a movie and ready to focus is it sick on acid?

Movies can be amazingly sick on acid, but in higher doses I can become distracted and not really care about the film. With IMAX 3D I don't think you can get easily distracted though! I haven't done it yet, but my buddy has gone to countless IMAX 3D movies and documentaries on acid and swears by it! Just don't take TOO much...
 
I seriously can't wait to see Alice in 3D @@ Knowing our IMAX here in Winnipeg it won't be released on release day .... it will probably hit IMAX a few weeks/months later =( I will still be dropping hits at the IMAX though! Omg it will be intense =) It will be my first time doing it for a 3D film =X

Also the mad hatters here in Winnipeg are a bit on the stronger side it seems. I really like them and I only needed 2 to get where I wanted to be, where I need 3 -4 of another one I took. I'm going to track down more if I can asap and save them as well =)

Avatar in 3D sober was a trip! I can't wait to try Alice tripping =)
 
thanks love-sex-desire, the experience i was thinking about was on a tiny tv, with other shit to do, and it was fear and loathing in las vegas which i've see at least 30 times, haha so yeha i'll imax it this time
 
Funny, after watching a preview for this movie in theaters, my girl leaned over and said "we should see that on LSD". I wonder though.. would the LSD take AWAY from the experience, and not add to it? I've never tried to watch a 3D movie while dosed, so I'm not sure how it would effect my ability to experience, or hinder, the video effect. Has anyone else actually sat through one of these new 3D flicks while dosed? Did it add/take away?

I'd imagine it would be a trip to watch the new Alice on Lucy ;) but I wouldn't want it to hinder it, either.

If you can get a clean dose you should be fine. To trip I take 4 hits usually but to watch a movie I am only taking 1.

I don't want the visuals to over power the movie and I want to understand what is happening.

Just ask around for some clean good quality LSD and don't take too much. Also this is not my first time doing this. I just have always loved Alice in Wonderland as a child and thought it would be a fun experience.
 
^ Movies on LSD in general are fine, my question though is would the LSD hinder the 3D effect of the movie? As you know, its going to be released that way initially. I've never tried to watch a 3D flick on lucy, curious if the visuals would add to it or take away.
