hahaha, I meant i did for the first time, when i was 16, and it was 7 years ago, But i was fallin face first onto my key board when i wrote that so Im glad u picked up on it not makin sense lol. It should definately say I was 16, it was 7 years ago, not 16 years, damn 7 is a little young. ;) I maybe on methadone but it dont stop me from noddin out at night , when i get tired it just turns into a extra hard nod instead of ur usual type sleep

NJ is nothing like that. But if people get the impression of it, hopefully it'll keep people away and allow us to enjoy the parts of the state that outsiders don't fuck up and destroy...

^^^ I actually looked up the hometowns of these people, and all of them are from NY and other states and only one of the girls is actually from jersey.
 
Real talk, there are a lot of people like that in Jerz. Let's be real. But they aren't NEARLY as prevalent as this show makes it seem. Plus, among the real Jerz people, these guidos are a joke. Ask my boy from Summit, haha. He has a few guido stories worth telling.

Especially for the people from like p-town, brick city, camden, etc. Uppity white kids like that wouldn't stand a chance in places like that. I'd venture to say that they simply don't exist in those places.

Its mad funny too. I'm Italian(-American) and guido used to be our "nigger." Now it is a generic term to describe confused white kids with inferiority complexes.
 
Yea flacky, I was exaggerating when i said nobodys like that lol, But I just mean that they are FAR from being anyhting more than a minority. and Youre right. They aint tough guys, they are usually the kids who would never survive in Paterson. These are the kids from fuckin Totowa and West paterson and Elmwood Park and shit. They wouldnt make it in the hood becuz most of the time they give all of us Italians a bad name by constantly talkin about "Mulignan" ....:| Thats one part of bein italian that i completely do not associate myself with, the tendency some of em have twds bein anti black racist....Fuck that shit, i will disown any italianness if it means i had to act like that. Im proud to be a italian lady but I am not like these guidette bitches. Most ppl think i am puerto rican or some mix of spanish and italian , if they would asssume anythin about me, So guidette is the last thing somebody would think about me.

How ever i have met some real nice guidos as well. My moms "BFF" her son is a few yrs older than me and he got alot of guido friends and they are the most nice helpful, mamas boy type of dudes u will meet. "oh ms p, can i get that for you, oh dont do that you gonna hurt yourself, here let me do that for ya, is there anything else i can help ya with?" and so on. very sweet n good manners. Not al the guidos are douchebags, some of them are very self respecting, and woman and old people respecting, and they are just all around nice guys who happen to have a real strong guido taste when it comes to their looks thats all. u feel me. theres all different types. but the loud douchey ones def aint a good representation of the majority of jersey.
 
While I agree with everything lacey and everyone else on here from jersey is saying, I don't think its accurate or sensible to compare these fags on the show or any other suburban everyday white kid to people in the hood and speculate on how they would or wouldn't make it in the hood. Like unless you grown up in the hood or have a bunch of friends who live there who you visit like why would you be there and try to assimilate with the ghetto? I think its stupid to say "oh these kids are douches, they would never make it newark", like why the fuck would they or anyone else who isn't a dopefiend or grown up in the hood want to go and try and make it in the ghetto? I think some of you guys are using that to like gauge how real someone is and I don't see how that makes sense. Shit, some of the coolest and most honest hearted people I know have never been in a real hood and definitely wouldn't make it there, but who gives a fuck, is that how we measure how real you are or how much of man you are?. I once had one of them give me a ride to cop in South LA and dude was scared as fuck, just as most normal people are of a high crime, gang and drug infested area. Its not some crazy phenomenon. I just get the feeling some of you guys glamorize the hood and think that if someone can't go hit corners and cop dope in the projects they are automatically some rich, spoiled, "uppity" bitch who lives in a bubble, when that isn't the case.
 
^ I'm not talking about rich and spoiled. I'm talking about don't know their place. There's a gigantic difference between assimilating with the ghetto and simply knowing your place. I'm from a very good neighborhood in NYC. I don't try to assimilate with the ghetto, but the point is simple: when I'm in the hood, I definitely don't act like I do when I'm visiting family where I'm from.

People who walk into the hood poppin shit off and acting like they're the shit get fucked up. They get robbed. They get jumped. That's just the way that shit works. I personally don't spend any time in p-town, etc, but I know from people who do spend time around there that they're worse than the hoods that I'm used to in NYC, and these kids would get fucked the fuck up in the hoods that I'm used to in NYC.

Also, when mentioning that these kids would be dead in the water in these places, no one ever said that they should go there. The point is that NJ has these places. It has a lot of 'em. And if people want to use this show as a representation of what NJ is, then they damn well better know that there's plenty of places across there where these kids would not fucking survive. Thus, this show is not NJ. It's barely a fraction. This point doesn't serve to degrade the people on this show, only to prove by example that NJ is not what this show makes it out to be.
 
^^^ Ohh ok, I guess I misunderstood. If we're talking about people who would go into a real hood and act the way these fags on jersey shore act and try and be all tough, well then thats just a death wish. Even though, I personally think if we put any of those fags from the show in a real hood they would probably piss their pants and all that fist pumping would turn into nail biting.
 
Honestly I do think that somebody who aint from there who always says that shit about, "OMG paterson wat r u doing THERE, i wouldntt go THERE , that place is scaryy" is kind of a pussy. theres healthy fear of a truly dangerous area, and in that case u should just be level headed and realistic about it not all freakin out like a retard, just use ur head dont act like a dumbass. that emotional, reactive type shit aint helpin nobody especially the person whose actin that way. If u express a general kind of , "Hey that aint the safest place for a person l ike me to be at yo" then I can respect that but the whole OMG NOOO Im scawed shit is just lame. Be a fuckin adult about it, damn.

Iunno yo, Shit just pisses me off, that people act that way, you kno people fuckin LIVE there retards....Thats some peoples homes, and its fucked up that u treat it that way and talk about it that way. Its disrespectful and it shows how ignorant u are if ur scared of a PLACE..Like oh, Drivin thru the area on a main road, oh no, "The Hood" is like this creature that will creep in thru ur car windows and "get" you...I never experienced bein scared of a place like that, and maybe im bias cuz I dont kno where that feeling comes from, people are just afraid of things they dont understand and to me, If im in the hood and thats where Im at, then No I really cant have people around me who cant make it in the hood becuz they will get me in some shit and put me at risk by the ways they act, so I do judge ppl alot of times by whether or not they can make it there. If Im livin there then I need to be around ppl who also can do that shit becuz if they cant they are gonna bring me down with them.

LMFAO that was hilarious, well being from staten island and going to jersey shore in the summer honestly people will say fucking lies and shit but kids from jersey want to be kids from staten island and brooklyn, anyone can disagree even though this is an opinion backed up by 6 years of going to jersey shore and seeing what its like. vinny from jersey shore lives around my way and hes the only normal one on the show hes cool with everyone down here being from staten but of course there going to be mocked MTV has been doing this for years its funny cuz this show is in the high's of being most viewed. i think people need to not watch it if there going to hate it, its TV its mockery its like every other show on TV and MTV for that matter. its entertaining and im sure they bullshit half the time its fucking TV cmon:\
