Me and my two friends decided to go on a dxm trip together. We were all still underclassmen in highschool so we contacted some of our upperclassmen buds to get us there favorite DXM products. They returned with 3 boxes of coricidins cold and cough and 3 bottles of Robotussin Max. (Now knowing what i know about dxm i would have never takin the coricidins. ) We all took 14 coricidins (i know looking back it was a dumb move ) and we each drank a bottle of robotussin max.
After consuming the pills and the robo we then precided to get everything in place for our trip before the high kicked in. We went downstairs and grabbed a bunch of snacks ( which turned out to be unnecessary) we grabbed a movie for later, Lord of the Rings (this was a terrible choice) we heard that serious movies intensefied the trip, we were wrong.
We then decided to play this new batman game we had rented earlier, we played this for about an hour until i could feel the effects of the DXM kicking in it was a erie weird feeling, the batman game was becameing increasingly frightening for no apparent reason. Once we started to feel the main effects of the dxm we decided to turn off the lights and just chill for a while we started watching this confusing as hell movie that was more scary than anything, i had watched lord of the rings before but never did i see it in that perspective. i wanted to get on my laptop and cheack my messages thats when i forgot who i was... i was looking at my own myspace and i asked my friend "who is this kid?? he looks familiar".. he too had no idea, i then strated to read my about me thats when i yelled out a sentence i still get qouted as saying and made fun of for... i yelled out "IM.....JORDAN.....(MY LAST NAME).." I felt very accomplished and all of a sudden in that same moment all the questions i had about life i had answers too it was like i was suddenly enlightened in a split second it was a very euphoric feeling, thats when i knew for sure i was peaking. After this my friends explained they had similar enlightenment moments aswell, after this we kind of plunged into complete confusion we end up mumbling to each other for hours somehow we understood one another, the movie became nothing more than back round noise. i felt as if i had down syndrome i could not talk at all my hands felt like weights and if i touched my mouth it felt like an alien body part like it wasnt part of me... my friend stood up looking for a battery or something i dont really know he then bursted into tears when we asked what was wrong he said "i cant walk and i dont wanna stand anymore" we convinced him to sit down again...
We were in no shape to be in front of parents or an authrity figure..
Thats when my friends dad walked in it was 5 in the morning and he was getting up early to go hunting. he asked my friend (his son) "where the hell his turkey call was" he was pretty agiatated "(we had been playing with it throughout the night and one of us ended up throwing it somewhere) well we were just coming off of our peak we were all half asleep and still trippping pretty hard my friend not knowing what was going on at all or what his dad just said grabbed a sock off the ground and said here you go thinking this would satisfy. LMFAO
his dad is a gulf war veteran and he was not at all amussed thinking his son was trying to be a smart ass his dad responded with "you son of a bitch you better find that calll!" he then stormed out of the room. soon after we feel asleep.
The next day i woke up and my brain felt like rubber for the next two days
but all in all it was worth it. i will never forget that night
