What drug subcultures do you least like?

i don't like any of the hard drug (i.e. coke/crack/smack) subcultures because they always manage to convince people to make decisions they regret for the rest of their life.

i don't think many of the people talking about the weed subculture know much about it because the phish-loving, deadhead, hemp-wearing bohemian archetype is only a fragment of ONE of MANY existing and potential subcultures deeply rooted in the green.
 
Have to say psychedilic/stoner hippies. Peace etc. Although they think they are always right there is no talking sense in to people, they are stubborn to their opinions. I have tried psychedillics and they do "expand your mind" or whatever, but who says this is for the good. To say you get a better state of mind from a drug, I dont know about that.

What is interesting here is that there are people united on the fact that they've been around enough "drug sub cultures" to form an opinion about them.

That, I believe, means that most people commenting on this thread have an open social mind, and at least give people a chance to begin with. Otherwise, you would not be able to comment on a sub-culture that you don't like. Unless you are ignorant, and that is a very detestable sub-culture indeed!
 
I really hate any kind of scene. No matter what I do, I like to keep it on a personal level or between friends. People who define themselves by their drug use are just kinda sad

I really really hate the crackhead and junkie subcultures though. These are the types who will shamelessly rip you off or steal your stuff just to get their next fix. Not to mention how dirty they are. It seems like to belong to one of these subcultures, you have to give up hygiene and personal grooming for the drug. Junkies will also seek out something which someone ODed on. Typically people in a drug scene stay away from the drugs that will kill you; yet every junkie has it in their head that they will magically get a great high out of something that has killed other people, possibly multiples of people. Both them and crackheads are just on the bottom rungs of any society, and would not be missed if they were to all disappear into thin air one of these days

I don't make judgements about people I know nothing about, so yes, I do know enough about the different drug subcultures to form opinions based on experience. But in all fairness, I don't think this thread was meant to be totally serious. It's full of silly generalisations and stereotypes, which have given me a good laugh.
 
Wow, you guys are really hate filled; This is why we never get anywhere.

I don't hate the dirtiest crackhead thief half as much as I hate the judgemental and arrogant..... That guy who told ketaman "he only smokes pot and drinks so he's the smart one", people like that who don't realize the harm of alcohol I resent, I wouldn't say hate though.

Snitches, if they count as a subculture. I HATE snitches, I mean deep hatred, I wanna stand up and scream yesss everytime I hear a snitch has been killed.....like I want to go laugh at their funerals

May god and their families forgive me...But I fucking hate them. See Im hate filled too.
 
^Hate snitches also....snitches just don't wanna pay the time for the crime, they did commit...and gotta put some else's family/life under all that bullshit because they cant man up


they are the type of people that push you outta a burning building just to possibly reach safety....

i guess i'm a little put off by any group of people whose primary identifying characteristic is their drug of choice. i despise cocaine, but i don't mind my friends who do it, because they keep it discrete and hang out with the rest of us like it's not a thing. i LOVE pot, but could care less whether or not my friends smoke too (and certainly don't give a shit what other drugs they're using). and i have a lot of fun with my drinking friends too, so long as i remember to go home after the bars instead of doing late night til 5:30 at some house across town.

i've got respect for anybody who doesn't act like an asshole or a shitbag, and vice versa.

Maybe you don't understand but the reason all the junkies rush out to buy dope which people are ODing on is because if people are ODing on the stuff, it must be potent. Potent dope means less money you have to spend to get high. Its not like people cop the dope to intentionally overdose, its to get that "great high" you mentioned. I dunno, I guess if you've never been involved with dope and or the hard drug scene, you wouldn't get it. Its like if you found out your buddy had some dank weed which got you stoned off one tiny toke, wouldn't you want to buy some of the same herb?
 
I hate the meth and cocaine users. They think cause they do the hardest drugs and they are above other drug users.
Im a stoner but not a total hippy stoner. I smoke almost every day and know lots of facts and stuf but I also love opiates, psychedelics and deleriants.
 
I gotta go with the drug subculture of the hypocrite which today most often goes to people who smoke weed everyday, all fucking day long. They would have a long conversation about how weed is the only natural drug and fuck opiates as they are not natural. While at the same time they are high off of coke and will take any kinda pharmie when they need arise. They try to tell me the pain I experience is not worth taking meds for, "just be natural, MAN" but when they r in pain they will eat heaps of pharmies of any kind.

Irritating, very. Does it affect me personally, not much. I sometimes have to leave conversations as some pot smokers will get so set on their ways being better when I know what they r doing is no better than what I am doing.

I also see a similar trend with alcoholics. "Fuck those dirty junkies, throw them out on the street" while they haven't worked for years and are currently on a long alcohol binge which makes them start every morning with shots of vodka.

Anybody who is open minded and it able to look beyond the drug is respectable IMO. I just hate hypocrisy in others and in myself. My SO is my best anti hypocrisy teacher, he is the least hypocrite I know and I love him dearly for it EVERYDAY, MAN!

I understand the rationale, but still, I value my life more than anything. An overdose could have occurred due to the cut, due to inexperience, etc. Too many factors going in. I did have a period where I sniffed dope about every day, and given what I know about bad cuts and ODs I really would never wanna try getting something that kills people, especially if it killed people more seasoned than I am

At least getting potent weed, you know one toke won't leave you dead or in the hospital. Call me crazy, but I view my safety more important than some drugs
 
Not sure if it's defined as a sub culture, but I can't at all stand the people who take pills, blotter, weed anything preprepared for ingestion yet look down on Lsa, Cactus, Dxm, and other such drugs which can be legitimently sourced, as a desperate attempt to get high.

Sorry if I explaned this badly, I'm lacking in sleep
 
^For most people, DXM is a desperate attempt to get high. You would rather trip on DXM than LSD? You'd be in the minority. plus NMDA drugs don't seem to be easy on the bain; DXM would have to be amazing to be worthwhile in my book. dont know anything about cactus and lsa. is "cactus" mescaline containing cactus? who would look down on that?
