Regional Pill/MDMA Discussion: Still Hoping

There was a batch of smilies that were especially weak. We got the last 25 or so mixed with a few hearts off our guy that were like that. Then the next weekend we got some more off the same fella that were harder and not as crumbly but had the same press. They were the stronger proper ones that sadly ran dry a few months later.
 
There are a few MDxx beans currently doing the rounds which are all old stock. In case any of you are unaware of this, here's a small breakdown:

Puma (Small, White) [Est. MDxx Mid-High]
Swirl (Small, Barrel Shaped, White) [Est MDxx Mid-High]
Love Heart (Small, Blue) [Est. MDxx Low-Mid]

All estimations are completely subjective, supplemented with Marquis.

And finally an interesting one which appears, from several Marquis tests, to be a Mid or slightly lower MDxx and Amphetamine mix, is the large red Star of David.

These may be in circulation for some months, but we can only hope that these new Bentleys surface around the rest of the country at some point!

There are a number of low MDxx beans circulating, which are quite typical piperazine-mix products, with a crumbly, waxy finish.

The smilies haven't been around for some time now, and it has to be admitted my pigeon strongly suspected a Mephedrone/MDMA mix in them, which would explain the short, energetic peak and the blatantly MDxx emotive quality. There is no definitive evidence, except to say that a significant increase in Serotonin Syndrome symptoms was noticed after a few heavy sessions with them. Some quite horrible symptoms, actually!

Can anyone definitively confirm a new batch of crystal with marquis?
 
what the fuck is serotonin syndrome? i thought it was life threatening. couldn't work out what the effects were from wiki's explanation. mephedrone does have some empathogenic qualites so there could be pure mephedrone beans floating around!
 
Serotonin syndrome is a bit of an 'umbrella', it defines all the symptoms associated with excess levels of Serotonin (at the point at which the serotonin becomes toxic), which includes things like hypertension, hyperthermia, myoclonus, and in the most severe (and as you point out, life-threatening) situations, death.
If there's one thing that humans have established from the last century of medical research, death is fairly life threatening :D

As far as I understand it, all or most MDxx users experience some form of what we term "Serotonin syndrome", but sometimes they are too mild to notice and are usually just what we can also identify as symptoms associated with stimulant use (like mild hyperthermia etc).

Much like the well-known case of MAO inhibitors and MDMA, it's drastically potentiated by combining SSRIs like MDMA and Mephedrone, though the result is usually not as death-y as with MAOIs.

A friend had some green mercs in the south of Wales months back and said they were excellent, nothing on pill reports though.
 
still enjoying pink swirls they dont half reek of aniseed a good sign in my long eons of experience also having fun with sonic lokkingg for the gold rings kerching ching ching,proper jaw shakersa deep fast breathes ,it's gonna be a good xmas this year.Just got back from India there wasnt a shortage of mud out there apparently in north Goa, nt that i partook but there were raves near enough daily ,but i wasnt there 4 that. Good times Folks every thing back uk every one say OK , U THINK THIS PECOKE IS BROKE... gonna haver a scout 4 these green mercs if there in s wales a 30 min drive 4 m, my home land.the green green grass of HOME!

lived on the pink swirls in ibiza in august....... they were good may have been a different batch i had they were defo mdma but there something else in them as my pupils never go big and on them they were massive and i was pulling mad faces on them and i usually dont.. dont think they'll ever make it over to ireland....

all thats going around at the moment is facebooks.. heard they were muck, mate was doing them over the weekend and said they were horrible trippy pips

It does sound like you've been having the shit smilies - most of the hearts and smilies that have gone round Manchester this year have been shit. It was only 1 recent batch that were the real deal - I took 2 of them, and the high lasted a good 4 hours - it was also the first time I have had an ecstasy smile on my face for about 3 years :)

I'm waiting on tekkeN to let us know whether the latest batch of smilies are any good. If they are, then clubs might actually start getting good again :)

I'm sorry, but you're talking crap. Just because taking drugs gives you some of the symptoms of serotonin syndrome, like increased body temperature, it doesn't mean you have it. You certainly wouldn't be out having fun. You'd be in a real mess. You don't just 'get' serotonin syndrome whenever you take serotonergic drugs. It happens when you have far too much serotonin that can't be broken down fast enough. Sorry for the rant, but misinformation is not needed. You are correct about the danger of mixing MAOIs and other drugs, however.

I appreciate the correction on specifics, although I feel the put-down was unnecessary!

"As far as I understand it", the distinction between what is a symptom, physiologically, of an excess of serotonin, and that of amphetamine abuse, is blurred. I don't see that there's any questioning that. As an addendum to that, my point was that serotonergic agents are, and in particular MDMA is more than capable of, inducing serotonin syndrome in a non-lethal capacity in its users, and, again, "as far as I understand it", this is more common than most would realise. As a species, our (and certainly my) understanding of serotonin syndrome is at best mediocre.
 
hi folk. has anyone herd of any mdma going about in glasgow? if you have had any im wondering if it was the real mccoy? been offered some but its the first iv herd of any in glasgow for years and not herd about any mdma from mates either. maybe paranoid but i dont want to buy any incase its duff.

however if you have had any in glasgow and it was good then fook it.. il prob get some.
