designer drugs......what would you want?

the hype surrounding research chemicals got me thinking, if you could design a drug, what would be the desired effect, and why, and what would be its name?
hypothetical question of course.....
 
1-hour orgasm. Or longer. Name it "Orgasmy".

Seriously, some clever biochemist should be able to figure out the chemistry of orgasm and come up with the right chemical to trigger the right response? But I guess this would probably spell the end of society as we know it...

Something exactly like methamphetamine (but without the tolerance, addictiveness, and withdrawals) would be grand.

I suppose one can only dream...
 
To be honest, I'd go for absolutely anything that made me empathetic and stimulated - whilst also being completely legal and available in all major convenience stores (with ID), pure, and without long-term side-effects.

Guess I'm going to be waiting a while on that one...:|
 
I want a drugs thats easy to make (basically anyone can) with few if none bad side affects and is non toxic as well.

Oh shit it already exists, its called cannabis.

I think that smoked 5meo-DMT (mid level dose) is a cosmic orgasm, but its peak only lasts for like 5-10 minutes, but then again, I don't really sense time on that stuff most of the time. Dosing can be little difficult and too much leads to an ego- death-like experience.
 
SOmething extreamly visual and fun but can also be very introspective and reality shattering. Dose dependent. Light body load, similar to LSD.


That would be lovely. Oh and dosage is in the MG range! TY! :)

Sounds like 4-mmc round these parts. Well except for the long-term side effects..8)
 
I can't think of anything. There's pretty much already a drug out there that does what I like. Maybe a drug that gives all the euphoric, analgesic effects of heroin with the stimulating effects of meth with long duration and no physical dependency.

Something with lsd afterglow, mdma euphoric/body high, opiate like depressant/ calm/ anxiolytic /sedative effects (nod), cocaine like rush, completely water soluble, higher doses quates to a more introspective like trip while lower dose it a high, legal, extremly hard to cut so it stays relatively pure, no negative effects, no physical withdrawal lol

MDMA-like euphoria, lasting for twice as long as MDMA, a clear headed peaceful trip, strong visuals, long afterglow that leaves you in a fantastic mood for a week afterward & non-toxic.

Oh, wait. It's called mescaline. <3

Mescaline is a perfect drug in my experience. Its empathic, it has strong visuals, it lasts just the right amount of time and has a beautiful afterglow. I've done it several times and each time was just pure bliss.
 
I'd love to design a drug that was exactly like LSD in every respect but only lasted 2-3 hours.

I've wanted to trip on plenty of occasions when the long duration was extremely inconvenient, so the option of taking some LSD-like chemical for a concert at 8 PM and still being able to sleep at 1 AM would be amazing.

Honestly though, if we're talking true fantasy, I'd want to design the drug "Key 23" from Grant Morrison's The Invisibles. Its effect is to cause the user to hallucinate whatever they read as true reality. For example, a person under the influence of Key 23, if shown a flash card with the word "gun" on it, would beg you not to shoot. Its potential for abuse would be radically high, but the potential for utterly unbelievable good would be equally intense. I can imagine doing some insanely cool shit with that drug.
 
As for a psychedelic, I'd like a psilocybin-like drug that lasted 1-2 hours. Perfect for psychotherapy.

As for a depressant, something like carisoprodol that lasted 30-60 minutes, and came on in less than 1 minute. Perhaps thats IV carisoprodol. One that didn't decrease respiratory depression would be grand.

I like phenethylamine as a stimulant, with selegiline of course, but I almost killed myself with it once, but it is amazingly wonderful, like a really short acting euphoric amphetamine.
