ketamine vs. dxm

well im robotrippin right now....and i never felt the euphoria before this.....like, i still feel like im in complete bliss.....i can see how this can be psychologically addicting xD


but yeah, hopefully i'll get some k so i can get true dissociative effects
 
K is really fun for me and i would take it over DXM if I had the chance but I actually enjoy the complete mind fuck confusion that comes with DXM because I think its funny when I wake up in the morning wondering why the hell I did all the stuff I did lol

Ketamine and DXM are both pretty euphoric, DXM though works longer than K but, with the perception of time slowed down they both feel like alot longer. The only real advantage K has over DXM is that it takes alot less to become complete disassociated around 200mg to k-hole me. AS opposed to around 800-1000mg of DXM to complete leave my body.

They are both great great substances though so I do both whenever I get a chance. Have fun and enjoy the afterglow btw.
 
Unlike DXM, following a medium/high dose of K...

I can actually sit and consider the K trip I've just experienced in a definite 'intoxicated' but extremely lucid, if not somewhat 'blown away' manner.

DXM and the body load would lead to body loads that stopped this being a possibility.
 
weird that so many people commented on such an old thread.......i've done ketamine since i've made this thread and alls i can say is

I've always wanted to try K myself, but could never get my hands on it. I've had the opportunity once but I ended up getting arrested that same day so I never got to go pick it up. I like DXM and I actually really enjoy how long it lasts. Most drugs I like a shorter lasting high as I feel trapped (which is why I love salvia. Can't go wrong with a 15 minute mind fuck) but for some reason the dissasociation I get from DXM could last forever and I wouldnt mind. That's the thing I hate most about DXM is when I finally realize I'm coming down. I'll usually smoke some non-x salvia to boost it back up, but that only works so well.
I can't wait to try K myself, I have a feeling I'll fall in love with it
 
@Reckless, ketamine is a short acting dissociative (sadly) and only lasts around 1 hour. But it's honestly so much better than dxm. I myself liked DXM a lot, minus the nausea, but ketamine just has a much cleaner feeling and it's somewhat different. I've only tried it twice, and I can honestly say I could be addicted to this shit. Too bad it's hard to come by and the dealer who got it quit /: Guess I need to go to some festivals/raves soon....I'll more than likely find some there, esp at a psytrance show.
 
The only possible advantages DXM has over K are legality, accessability, cost and long duration. That last one is sibjective also.

K is a hell of a drug, DXM is mediocre at best. Thats just my opinion though.

ditto, the moment i find someone with some, i'm blowing all of my money on it and goin on a sweet k binge %)
 
Love DXM! Easily my DOC. I Would try K in a heartbeat but its rarely ever available.

Whats so great about DXM is the duration. The longer I stay out of this world the better.
 
The only thing that DXM has in common with Ketamine is it is slightly dissociative and visually objects can warp shapes.

other than that they are not similar. Ketamine is much more enlightening (where as DXM is more intoxicating). You can more easily explore your subconscious and in doing so learn more about yourself. Ketamine is also a much more powerful psychedelic. There can be entity contact and entire trips that seem as real as the computer screen in front of you that follow a storyline.

I have taken 700mg of DXM and stumbled around for a few hours.

And I have insufflated 300mg of Ketamine and swam through space with dolphins.

Ketamine has an insane tolerance build up. If you take 100mg one day and then the next day take 175mg you still will not reach the level you were at on the first day you took the 100mg. k tolerance is a bitch. thats why binges on it are jus a waste of money.
 
I haven't tried K, and I'm a self-admitted DXM addict. I'd say the difference between the two is, with DXM, part of the trip is holding your liver up and struggling to handle an entire bottle of cough medication. K doesn't have that shit. Plus the K-hole doesn't have you so close to dying, whereas DXM's K-hole is pretty much the 4th plateau, where you're almost dead, but you aren't.
 
I'm so excited to try MXE. For all those who cant find K this might be a dream come true.
