I thought someone might have taken me for a misspelling fool - still now the focus has happily altered to geology I'd actually prefer to use andesite for most purposes - how about you ?
#is it possible that meph can get cut with ephedrine? that probably explains some of the powdery batches, the only good powder i've had stunk to high heaven. is meph meant to smell or not?
hi (Riklet),
that article was one of the worst pieces of journalism i have ever read, and completely misrepresented my views.
i had a long conversation with the journalist and assisted her in every way possible to access further information about mephadrone.
my viewpoint was that there was hardly any systematic research on mephadrone and as such we were unaware of its toxicity.
if was a "don't know" rather than a green light to use the drug.
i think what she wrote was almost criminally irresponsible as well as an abuse of the courtesy i showed her in discussing the topic in depth.
i have made this clear to her in an email sent today. i guess i should learn to expect this from murdoch press journos - sigh!
thank you for your thoughts on the matter. i would be grateful if you would also forward your views to the journalist involved:

best wishes, iain
Very probable. Still, hard to keep to that type of use though as it extremely moreish.I'm by far an advocate of meph but all the people that seem to have suffered bad reactions from it seem to have really been abusing it or have used a very high dose. A lot of it seems anxiety induced on the comedown, a typical case of stimulant anxiety. BUT for the people that do it in silly amounts that are showing the bad effects are definately showing signs of some sort of toxicity.
TBH I dont think that a person who uses say half a gram once a month or so has anything to worry about what-so-ever.
What is needed is for the idea that it's anything like coke to be quashed. People think they can have this in repeated doses for as long as they want without side effects.
