How do YOU handle being ripped off

Strangely enough, I've never been ripped off on hard drugs, just weed. The only time I got taken for any significant amount I was tryin to set up a deal with some friends and my ex was the one with the connect, so she calls him and im talkin to him and everything and it all seems a little shady but I didn't back out cuz there was kind of a dry spell at this time and it was hard to get good weed. So my friends get there, give me the money, and I go and meet up with the guy. I made sure not to give him the money until i got the bag but it was dark and he had stuffed the bag with leaves or some shit to make it look legit. Luckily there was still like a half o in there so not a complete loss. I felt really bad for my friends - made sure to hit them off when I had it.

For hard drugs, i don't really cop on the street. I always gotta know the person first, makes shit so much easier and how hard is it to meet people really? Anyway, I don't remember ever getting fake dope. For the c, sometimes with powder the quality's a bit shitty but what are ya gonna do, its not like the dude is singling people out for a low count, sometimes ya gotta cut the shit to make a buck. Maybe I've had a strange experience with the rock, but even buying off random people through friend of a friend shit the worst we ever got was a low count.

If you deal with professional people - people who know their game and aren't fake - i've found that you usually get quality product.
 
OOOOOH..good question - been ripped off a few times...once was at gunpoint - lost a grand...

last time was bout 3 months ago when my so-called friend sold me 2 bottles of acid which actually turned out to be 2c-x in vodka...I was PISSED and once I take a trip over to ******* I'm going to beat the shit out of him.
He also ripped off another 2 of my mates at the same time.

Basically unless I can't do anything about it physically, or they have too many people behind them to make me walk away with my tail between my legs - I'm not going to forget.

Did it still get you high? Last time I got acid, it definitely wasn't acid; it was some type of psychedelic speed or something, but the kid I got it off was getting for himself at the same time as well, it's not like he could have known it wasn't LSD. There's so much imitation acid around that I couldn't see getting upset over it, as a lot of people can't even tell the difference. Maybe your friend didn't have bad intentions when he sold it to you?
 
It did still get you high BUT only after taking like 2-4 drops and it only lasted 4 hours with unpleasant body load...not cool..

He knew what he was doing - I worked it out when I was sampling it (I had other people to sample the bottle first coz I had a lot on my mind) and was like "ahhh"...

He hada bunch of 2C-x which was supposed to be 2C-B sent over from Canada but it wasn't 2C-B...

I recognized it - so last night when I went to sleep after reading someone's earlier post - I figure I won't beat the shit outta him, violence isn't good and I will never get that money back, plus he is having a child with my other friend...SO I'm just not going to post that instead. That's alright - nothing too major, just show him that I'm not a total pushover and that I won't forget it.

you're going to do what you're going to do, but keep in mind that what goes around comes around. The universe will take care of his selfish and mean spirited (if he knew what he was giving you wasnt LSD but still told you it was rather than him not knowing either) actions. Karma is the worst revenge IMO. Dont stoop down to his level. Like i said though, you're going to do what you're going to do, just be smart about it.
 
true - I totally believe in Karma...but I still think it is my right from the universe to at least throw him a knuckle sandwich...just one...

I'm not a violent person..so we'll see when it comes down to it.

But it's an expensive lesson in who you should trust with business...noone but yourself.
 
this bitch i thought i could trust ripped me and a friend off $80 for bud.i gave her the money so she could pick it up(as she had done before, i didnt really have a hook at the time) and she went to get it. i wait awhile and she then never replies. i go to the house i know shes at and i hear from the house "oh shit its him" and some guyy steps out and i tell him im looking for her. he tells me he has no idea who that girl is. so i leave (wtf was i gonna do?), and later see her in pics with the guy at a rave she went later that day.

eventually she txts me back saying how she feels bad that her friends ripped me off and that she'll pay me back. of course she never does. this was over a year ago and i still havent retaliated. she seems to think we're cool, but that bitch is gonna get something coming to her.

Im considering what i should do.. Last night me and a mate decided we would trip out on acid, he got in contact with 2 mates of his whom he knows alot about(address, names, everything) and they said they could score some acid. We give em some cash and they go and come back, with a bottle of ch'i, a health tonic, anyway the stuff in the bottle was 'water mixed with acid'. It tasted bitter, like something youd be forced to chuck in your mouth at a dentist or something, and no effects happened.. i felt a lil funny but that could have been the several joints i smoked.

Im thinking we should get to the dealer through these 'mates' of his and just say 'look man, we dont know if it was diliberate or a mistake or what ever, but the acid you sold us through 'so n so' didnt work at all' and see what happens from there.

Whats the best thing to do in these situations, ive never really had much of a problem, but ive never really bought anything but weed and a few mushies.

You prolly got sold DOx. and underdosed. The effects take up to 3 hours to kick in
 
I went to a small private high school where it was seriously difficult to get what you payed for in bud. An "eighth" would often look like somewhere between 2.5 to 3 instead of the correct 3.5+ g. Kind of like how a bottle of water is 7 $ when you are trapped in some venue..... glad those days are over
 
last time i was burned, i jumped out of my car and chased after the bastard. as i sprinted after him, I was screaming, "i'm gonna kill you! i'm gonna kill you!" the dude threw my money on the ground and ran away.

thats what i usually do and by usually, i mean have done only once. bc ive only been burned once in my 3 years of using. i try to stick to the same people. that way they know me and i know them.
 
i see 3 things wrong with ur story - #1 - u got shit from someone you do not know and was not ur dude; which means some random ni**a on the street noticed u were there to cop - knew wat the deal was and intercepted and tried to rip off ur dudes sale; this happens alot by me but never wit fake shit. #2 - ur original thought was it wasnt a spot u wanted to be at and u shoulda listened to urself and went elsewhere or figured something out or not trusted whoever that was cuz it coulda easily been a snitch. #3 - U WENT IN THE PROJECTS. SIMPLE.

avoid # 1 2 & 3 and ur alllll goooodddd. i have been ripped off one time for 1200 bills cuz some lil wannabe thug ni**as thought they cud beat me down for my shit and set me up. jokes on them - well see whos laughin wen they doin 8 - 10 wit a mandatory 6. hahahaha....wat just cuz im white u think i dont got a thousand dudes in the hood and make up a story to cops why im there. said igot lost goin to my boys and got merked - they escorted me to my mans house like i didnt kno where it was told him im comin thru - then they caught dudes ridin thru the hood wit mad drugs in the same whip i called in - and they knew i was callin in they plates and still didnt care. hahaha. i win. NOONE robs me.

Just be careful that your dealers don't take advantage of that. If they know you don't have many (or any) other sources, they may up the price or sell you underweight product, cos they know you'll keep coming back anyway.
 
yes, agreed sweet p.....but i guess i really can't say that....that's how i used to be.....but now-a-days if i don't have a scale and i feel that i've been ripped off (i normally can eye out a ~1 g) than i'll text or call them and be like "this definitely isn't a g" and when i do have a scale i'll weigh it out in front of them so they've learned not to rip me off.......however when it comes to rolls, if i take it, there's really nothing you can do about it besides not buy from that person again.
 
^ Good idea. I used to do the same - I'd take along my own scales and weigh the product in front of the dealer before paying. But fortunately I'm on friendly terms with all my dealers now, so I can trust them not to rip me off. :)
