Give a lightshow

I unfortunately don't have any videos, but here's a nice shot of my current setup:

lol pure mdma doesn't really do much in the motivation to do shows department for me, I just wanna put em down and cuddle up. Speedy stuff on the other hand..

These lights that this guy is using are called rav'ns.

Just type that word (rav'n) at ebay and see how much these lights go for just ONE LIGHT! I just did it now and it says 65 bucks for one light... 65 * 10 (one in each finger) = $650 for a full glove set if you want rav'ns! holly shit, who would pay that money?!?! Rav'ns though, are like an antique item because they don't sell them anymore (discontinued), but many argue that rav'ns are the best microlights ever made. They sold for $15 bucks each though when they were manufactured.

Of course, nowadays, they have imitation rav'ns from sites like orbitlightshow.com and liquidemotions.com that go for like 13-15 bucks a light, but they're not even close in terms of quality compared to rav'ns.

I like that setup you have! hopefully you'll be going to either tiesto in daly city or tao!
 
I don't like the idea of having someone doing that to me when I'm rolling. Yeah, it looked awesome in itself, but I'm strange about this sort of thing. It's super hard to explain; like... I don't mind someone KNOWING I'm wasted, but I don't like someone SEEING I'm wasted. It would probably make me feel as if those two guys were against me somehow, pushing my buttons to make me compliant or so that they could laugh at me...

Damn no I just can't explain properly to myself, let alone you guys...

I always thought that was the beauty of rolling w/ people is you didn't have to worry about people looking at you weird. I mean goodness people walk around at raves w/ pacifiers in their mouths.

I don't know I always enjoyed giving light shows, it blew me up just as good as it blew up everyone else. It makes the music visual to me if you know what I mean. That's if the person doing it is going with the beat at least. The last time I rolled the only thing we had were glow sticks though, they didn't have these led lights or whatever they are using now just old fashioned glow sticks. I would always buy a bunch so I could get fresh ones out every hour.

the inovas being made now are just as high quality if not better so. check out some pics of the inovas i got.

yeah its too expensive, you might as well just get the imitators. Lightzombies.com sells the bulb for $4.50 and they are coming out with a new microlight which is said to be better than any other, with many diffuser options etc.
People that have full sets of Rav'ns bought them while they were still in production I'm sure. Thats a rediculous amount to spend on lights.


Kandytime: Inovas aren't as good as the Rav'ns, no way lol. The Rav'ns have an exposed bulb as well as a diffuser. oh and you're from dallas eh?

And as far as giving lightshows, it gets old pretty fast for me ha. But I've taken nothing but very clean mdma...I'd rather just get lightshows. maybe if there was amp or caffeine in my shit, I'd give lightshows like crazy to everyone but I'm completely exhausted after several minutes of lightshowing while rolling.

The bulbs on my inovas are exposed? i compared mine to some guys rav'ns at the club and they were about the same brightness and quality from what i could tell... but who knows i was fucking gone lol. and yeah im just a 10min drive east of dallas

It is def not easy to get good at. It takes a LOT of practice but a lot of fun learning. I started of learning how to do liquid w/ my fingers rolling them back and forth and then just following them. After that it's all about experimenting. I knew guys that could make you see doves and butterflies and this was way before glove lights and sht. All we had were plain jane glowsticks.

glowsticking.com has a bunch of tutorial videos, and after you teach your friends, they can share the love! lol my current girl friend saw me do some strings on a hippie flip and went online and started researching on her own and learned damn near every trick I knew in about a months time!
