The long term effects of the 2c's

I just recently got some 2c-i last Friday and have tripped twice, once at 15mgs and another at 22 mgs


This is the difference you will feel from this drug compared to the old legendary LSD and Psilocybin Mushrooms.



It has a sort of buzz like ecstasy but not like it, do you kind of understand that? It feels good and it can feel bad, it depends on the person. I tend to get this feeling in my balls that is kinda tingly, like when I get super excited. It isn't sexual normally but it could be! For example, I am lacking an erection and i get the tingles in my scrotum and it makes me want to be horny or I think about how sick the next rave I am going to is going to be and I get tingles! Its those tingles. i dont know if anyone has them...... :-P but ya... moving along...

Anyways, visually I am a bit disappointed but i have been smoking cannabis on the come up and that normally messes with the visuals on Phens for me. I am considering taking another dose tonight but I am not sure yet... I have no cannabis and that is normally what knocks me out because the drug is stimulating. anyways..


Visuals are more geometric on the 2c-x's, mechanical like. It is not like LSD where everything just seems so alive and you cant see a pattern (for me at least). I have yet to see an intense pattern on 2c-i but I did see it on 2c-e and a but on 2c-c. There was one though, dont get me wrong and it controls your visuals.

Mind space is chill, I feel sober mentally.

it is a nice recreational drug overall. i could see taking this at a party or something. Nice energy, audio and visual boost.

Also, I find it sedating too! I just lay in my blankets naked and rub myself. Feels soooo goood. lol

if you are not used to the body high though you may consider it a bodyLOAD. At first while doing 2c-e I hated the body feeling and even 2c-c I hated it. Than i did 4-aco-dmt and felt so fuckin shitty but somehow I mentally turned that around and the buzzes are now pleasurable.

and uhmm.... Yea its pretty neat stuff.

NOW I WOULD NOT CONSIDER THIS A MUSHROOM OR LSD REPLACEMENT. It is nothing like the two and has a synthetic feel to it. You have to remember that Shulgin synthesized these drugs for a reason, for psychology and health purposes so they do tend to push more on the serious side but than again they can be recreational if you make them that way.


Last; I have not had any side effects. I did 2c-i on 10/31 and 11/01 and don't notice anything weird. On the other 2c-x's i didnt notice anything else either and I would have to say LSD is the only substance I felt after effects from for about a week. (Orgasms were horrible, I mean I didn't even feel me ejaculate and it was a small amount of semen, Depression and loss of appetite) But that was only after one time of LSD, weird huh? I still love my Lucy :)

I would definitely say that overall, 2C-E is more visual than 2C-I (keeping in mind that 2C-I still takes the prize for CEV's). 2C-I visuals seem to be somewhat controllable (e.g. I found myself able to make the breathing and morphing stop and start at will, or to choose which part of the room I wanted to see move), whereas 2C-E visuals (especially at higher doses) can be completely overwhelming in the best way possible.

Let's put it this way: out of a total of nine people that I know who have taken 2C-E, as well as at least two other psychedelics (including 2C-I), six of them said that 2C-E was by far the most visual substance I had ever ingested, two said that acid was moderately more visual, and one said that 2C-I was slightly more visual.

On a completely unrelated topic, does anyone know why I can't insert emoticons into my posts?
 
2c-i's visuals can get a little boring after a while for lack of a better word. It's not enough of a true psych for my taste. 2c-e has nice visuals and a powerful mental component that I have yet to discover in any other 2c's. The body load is often easily combated with a mild dose of benadryl (25mgs) or promethazine (12.5mgs). Cannabis also works nicely to combat body load and take you to a happier place.

Don't bash, but I have experimented with daily dosing of 2c-e (18 - 40mgs) over the course of 12 days. I did take one day off. I have yet to notice adverse consequences other than missing my alarm clock because I stayed up too late. I have a very physically and mentally demanding job that requires a sharp mind and healthy body. I have no problem performing my daily duties provided I sleep properly. Speaking of sleep, it can be a little hard to come by once the plateau has past. Benzos are money at the end of the experience.

I wouldn't call too much of anything like LSD, but 4-Aco-DMT is a true tryptamine with much less both load for me than the 2c's. Hope this helps.

Yes, 2c-e is but you need to take this in note. If this is your first RC i highly reccomend 2c-i because although it is more visual, 2c-e has a much heavier body load (for most) and a very deep and serious psychedelic mindset, not like LSD and shrooms where it can be fun most of the time(agian, this is most). Shulgin calls this theraputic and I agree, it must be treated with the uttermost respect.

But I am not saying it cant be fun. Lets just say your cant really control the trip, the drug does.

I agree with Felix that 2C-I is a great 2C with which to start. As you can see, there's some disagreement about body load and visuals, but I personally found 2C-I to be incredibly visual at 20mg (especially CEV's, which blew away any other substance), and thought the body high was wonderful. 2C-I can also be very introspective, but often lacks the depth of LSD and mushrooms.

IMO, when used in the proper context, 2C-E can be a therapeutic and psychonautical tool on par with LSD. The visuals tend to be similar, though they certainly have their own character (for me, acid visuals tend to resemble constantly shifting object boundaries, whereas 2C-E visuals are billowing and full of motion - such as clouds and waves in a painting on the wall moving as though I was watching a movie). The body high/load can be similar as well. I find that its uncomfortable nature stems not from a toxic or strictly physical feeling, but rather the sensation of having become the conduit for an excessive amount of energy (as Felix said, it buzzes - sometimes you can even hear it!) Then again, I have had 2C-E trips that were accompanied by the most blissful, euphoric body rushes I have ever experienced; it all depends on how you channel the energy.

I have not experienced any side effects from my use of phenethylamines, with one exception. Ever since childhood, I have had random experiences of falling into an emotional state of profound and almost paralyzing unfamiliarity (I've come to call it "pure potentiality") that lasts a maximum of 2-3 minutes. This normally occurred a few times a year, but since I've begun to use LSD and 2C compounds (mushrooms did not affect it), this experience has increased in frequency to nearly once a week. I don't consider this a negative effect; it's actually quite meditative. Nevertheless, it's still an effect worth considering, given its close relationship to my use of psychedelics. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I think the potentiality feeling is natural. I have gotten that since I was a kid to and it happens more frequently with psychs but if u stop use it will decrease in a bit...
