Used to be in the same situation. But recently all my mates have started to get into it, even people i never thought would, so the last few trips have been awesome. Acid is great.

I wouldn't dismiss Nano's words, but some elaboration would be nice Nano ! !

hmmm, al hofmann, al foil, al zheimer...ever wonder why food storage containers are not made of aluminium? ever notice how metallic surfaces seem to attract condensation...oxidation...but i guess if ya storin your tabs for years w/no degrade - how does that song go - if you got nothin in the first place, you aint got nothin to lose...

That's ridiculous. Food containers are made from plastic because it's cheap to make, durable, doesn't rust and light. I've never noticed any degredation from using aluminium foil.

There are heaps of food trays made out of foil with the paper lid. Just remember when u buy chinese food. But yea plastic is much cheaper to make.

I think he meant for food storage, like Tupperware..etc.

Either way, I'll be storing my acid in foil and in a baggy until I see some evidence to support the claim that foil would somehow degrade it. I think people worry about it a little too much, some of my mates have stored tabs in a baggy in their wallet for months and months, subject to heat..etc and they've still worked fine.

This is definitely true. The carrying on people do about how to store LSD... I've heard of people finding LSD in pages of books from decades earlier and they were still A-OK...

OK, I'm now pretty convinced you are talking from opinion without any facts to back it up.
I had never wondered about storing food in aluminium but since you brought it up I checked.
According to Carol C. Schlitt, Extension Educator, Nutrition and Wellness of the University of Illinois: "Aluminum foil has a very low moisture-vapor transfer rate -- even lower than plastics. For that reason, foil is preferred over plastic wrap for long-term food storage or freezing." from this page.

If you have something other than word association that can explain why using foil is bad I'd love to see it. The evidence I'm finding seems to suggest it is a good storage method.

And if by "if you got nothin in the first place, you aint got nothin to lose.." you mean that others are not having their LSD degrade because the tabs were bunk in the first place then I think you are suggesting others are either lying about their experiences with alfoil stored blotters or so clueless they are having a placebo trip from eating some paper. I don't believe either to be true for the other posters and it certainly does not match my experience at all.

It's fine to have an opinion but it's unhelpful to others if you just say 'you're doin' it wrong' without explaining why.

Perhaps you can learn something from this nano? Things might not be as you perceive and foil may well be a very good storage method.

good on y'all, store ya 60 ug papes away. who likes eating old paper anyway...cheese shaved off the rock or freshhy liqqy half dilute for me rats.

That speal was far from aimed at you pinothippy

I agree entirely with your posts

We need a new drug to push MDMA under the carpet for long enough to give some big guns a chance to network once again.

At the moment there is far too much pressure/attention on the pill trade and we can all see the end result =shit pills

Who knows what's happening out there right this minute

We bitched and winged about 'cid in the LSD thread last year or the year before and there has been some nice big batches flooding the streets of late

Fingers crossed for MDMA

Please dont jinx acid mate lol

Prices usually drop big time if the demand is higher. Availability is a different story tho.

Not from what i have seen and heard in the rave scene where LSD is taking over thanks to sniffer dogs and shit e's

I have also had this conversation with BLers from across Aus and they say the same thing

It hasn't and hopefully wont effect me but i have heard of some very inflated prices around Melb in recent times.

You hit the nail on the head with that first sentence. Can't be sniffed, and E is shit.

Think of it this way. The quantity is low, the demand is high which means they need to manufacture alot more. That means the more they make the more they would need to cut back on overheads like starting materials (precursors) and etc etc as it would be tougher to obtain more precursors then they have already.

Which means theyd have to cut product or make it less active to keep up with the demand. The users would need to buy more of the product that way and by buying more bulkier its alot cheaper. I know its silly what they do and it would be better off if they just sold the uncut product or more purer stuff for alot more cash.

We found a rope swing in this reserve last weekend when we were all on panthers. So much fun. At one stage we decided it was time to leave and we'd played on it for long enough. We made it about 15 metres up the track and went straight back to it.
