well that was a pretty good party. crazy sound. crazy vide. none of the usual boo birds though... kinda weird.
are heads boycotting moo boo parties now? cuz there weren't many b's tonight.. house heads were in the mix for sure but didn't see many of the elecgtro / prog / min heads... hmmmmm.
next month is going to be hot.

But I see what you're saying.
Obviously I can't speak for other people, but I do know several people who share my musical tastes, who just don't like Colette. Factor in your opening DJ and it wasn't worth $5 on a Thursday at Blu for them.
A couple things to consider going forward (just my opinion).....
- Having someone between Orion and Colette may have been a better transition. I think he was a good opener, especially for that crowd. But he played kinda late...and Colette went on pretty late for a Thursday. It was thinning out well before she was done.
- If you want to appeal to the people who were missing, throw them a bone and put one of them in the lineup.
With that said, I think it was a good crowd regardless. Nice sound too. My voice is paying for it today. haha
Wasn't my cup of tea musically, but I'm usually game for someone as big as Colette because I know a lot of people are really into her. And that creates a good atmosphere, which can make any party fun.
I look forward to the things you guys have coming up.
PS - I got yelled at for handing out flyers on the sidewalk out front after 2:00AM. I didn't argue with the guy, but I thought I was being considerate by not throwing them around on the inside. haha
