I found it to be too rock sounding for me. not quite as psy trance as they used to be. i do like most of the psy rock trance stuff on vicious delicious but this new album has a new sound to it. i don't really like his voice very much. when i got the single before the album came out i initially liked it but after a while i started skipping it when it came up on a playlist due to his voice. so....

i say nay.

what do you guys think of it?

Nay, I'll agree with PsyGhost on the cover art tho.

IM are done. There is no coming back, they will never make music like Classical Mushroom. Converting Vegetarian was their last great work. IM the Supervisor is when things started to go downhill, still a decent album, but it was the beginning of the end for Infected Mushroom.

It sucks that they sold out, I wish they would make another song like Mushi Mushi or Dancing With Kadafi.

Edit: The video for Smashing The Opponent is just terrible. For that matter, why is there an official video? Since when did psytrance artists start making official videos for the mainstream media?

absolute crap.

that said, they know how to rock a party. I personally loathed their set at burning man this year, but the crowd went fucking bananas for it and you have to give them props for that.

I thought Vicious Delicious and Becoming Insane were amazing pieces... I love peaking to Vicious Delicious.. that come up is INSANE.. but all the other songs weren't that great tbh.

I like it. But it´s not what old school psy people are looking for obviously.
After VD I think they turned a corner. Maybe more commercially viable?
Not Psy-Trance anymore but I like it.... Especially Sa´aed.

vicious delicious isn't there newest album. i liked several songs on that album quite a bit. the newest one just came out and is title "legend of the black shawarma"

NAY. I mean really i cant believe the direction they went in. Rock psytrance just seems like such a terrible idea in the first place. Worst idea for a fusion genre ever.
