An interesting, but often dissapointing venture into the world of psychadelics.

I bumped into this website today while researching Psychedelic Drugs, mainly Lucy and Mushrooms, and figured fellows over here would be able to somewhat, at least, help guide me to a proper way in experiencing these mind-altering drugs. However, I've had some problems in the past with hallucinogenic drugs, not including Lucy and Mushrooms. I did end up taking low doses of each, which produced intense body highs, CEV, euphoria, acute change in time perception, etc.

The main point, though, is I had a past experience with Diphenhydramine which produced acute side effects such as regular hallucinations, I guess a very mild psychosis/paranoia, that seems to underline every high I found and still find myself in, even through regular, everyday Cannabis use. Recently though, I've found a reliable source for Lucy and Mushrooms, and reliability is important here because my past experiences with Lucy was suppose to have a potency of 400 ug, and I consumed 3.5 g of Mushrooms; however, both drugs ended up being about half the promised potency.

I have another chance at experiencing Lucy and Mushrooms at the same potency I was promised in the past. Would it be wise to take these amounts knowing I might experience the negative(although I cannot seem to find a positive), side effects of Diphenhydramine? Do you think the Lucy and Mushrooms would mask everything? I dunno, help please?

Diphenhydramine can be a terrible thing...

I think your best chance would be to try to reduce any negative aspects of the experience. Be in the best set and setting, and mentally prepare yourself. Psychedelics can be a beautiful experience, so don't let this get you down if it becomes negative. Over time the effects will likely disappear, but thats just it, it will take time.

Also, not that I recommend this if your not experienced, taking ecstasy with your Lucy/Shrooms (candyflipping/hippyflipping) can help to prevent bad trips to a great extent.

Make sure to drop the E at the right time though, otherwise you'll find yourself having a difficult time coping with the E come down while your still tripping on E.

But hey, you never know, you could still have a wicked time.

Not doing psychedelics because you had a bad experience with a Benadryl overdose is wrong. They're completely different experiences, I don't think you can base how you'll react to psychedelics off of diphenhydramine. If you're really worried, start out with a fraction of a dose to test the waters.

And I disagree with combining with MDMA; I believe one should experience drugs alone and finding out how they are affected by them before combining.

Good luck, have fun.

completly different experiences, although incase things turn ugly have a decent helping of benzos around so that you can kill the anxiety or just pass out if things get uncomfortable....

benzos make such a nice little tripping security blanket....

bad trips are just a bunch of anxiety and paranoia, luckily modern medicine has discovered drugs that kill anxiety.

and better a few mg of xanax than a big ol shot of thorazine....

400 mics produces good strong visuals..even 200mics would be pretty intense as 100-150mics is threshold for tripping with visuals for many people

it's safe to assume the decent stuff is 100-150 mics/hit... i've heard of some tested in the Netherlands that was 300 mics/hit, but i find this to be exceptional as a lot of people these days will tell you to take 2 hits to trip

3.5g of decent shrooms would have you tripping pretty good. the first time i did about half that and got some crazy visuals and audio distortions

unless you know lucy's maker, i wouldn't rely on dosage units people tell you as you need fairly sophisticated lab equipment to test for potency

25ug is the threshold whereupon effects become noticeable, according to Albert Hoffman and co.

still, 25ug is enough to feel maybe a little bit of the stimulation and comming up but never really getting there feeling, but it takes a little more to get full blown visuals and a decent head space....

yea i've always had sheets of uncut and experimented a lot with amounts to informally test it

the first batch i had i would consider good; not great. one hit gave me a speedy effect along with intense euphoria and spacial distortion - the ground seemed close to my face when i was walking and looking down, everything seemed like it was very close to me, sense of self changed and there were mild sound effects... but there were no real visuals... 2 hits felt like another substance. i went into a trance and started tripping..

the floor-pattern came to life, everything seemed to blend together like a salad (loss of boundaries), then things got crazy good... ;)

my friends who've tried all the same sid i have always get more visuals than me. i may have a bit of a natural tolerance to psychs in that aspect as well as the mental one... big doses never bothered me but chilled me out

i think noticing effects is a bit subjective. for example, the fact that i'm a bit schizophrenic may mean i don't notice effects the same way other people do

who knows? i will stop rambling tho. good luck OP %)
