Amphetamine paste into Freebase or powder

Hi! i've recieved small ammount of amphetamine paste.Is it possible to turn it into freebase or powder??? Is it possible to cut with something too???
 
The paste you have is the freebase; what you want is the salt form. You should be able to convert to the salt by putting the paste in solution and adding an acid, then evaporating the solvent.

No, the acid is for changing the freebase (which is what you have) to the salt (which is the powder form you want). And alcohol will not change the pH enough to be used as an acid, you need something strong like lemon juice or hydrochloric acid. Unless you're talking about using pure IPA as a solvent, in which case that might work. If you mean you have vodka or something similar, you need a purer solvent. Could you be more clear?
 
no, no no, u will ruin it......amphetamine salts are water soluble, therefore all u need to do is add a small amount, just enuf to disolve it all, and put it into a pyrex dish and microwave it for about 45sec....or until the all the water evaporates....

Yes, the SALT is water soluble. He has the FREEBASE. Either way you need to change the pH, Freebase -> salt needs an acid, salt -> freebase needs a base. Your method would do nothing but perhaps remove some of the water-insoluble cuts from amphetamine HCl if you filtered the solution (which is not included in your directions). You realize all you told him to do was put the amphetamine in solution, then get it out of solution, changing absolutely nothing, right?

ok i found some citric acid.WOuld it and some rubbing alchocol like spirit would do the job??? and wont the citric acid change the taste on aphetamine???? anyways thanks.and btw for about 10mg of amphetamine how much should i use citric acid and alchocol.
 
the paste you have is not freebase. it is the salt but just put in a damp putty form to make it easier to store and harder to cut. it is generally considered of higher quality than other speed. please dont start pumping chemicals through it because someone's convinced you you have amphetamine freebase (which is incidentally an oil and to all intents and purposes unavailable)

you could prolly dry it out too a solid with a few of those silica moisture absorbers or in the oven real low..

or just out in the sun..

MODS i would like to commend this chap right here for speaking it how it is and actually having a decent combination of street knowledge and chemical knowledge.. do you have any idea how many arguments ive held with 'dealers' and mates over this fucking stupid myth. "it's base man" "base bro" fuck off you idiots!! if it was free base methamphetamine and you mixed it with water and shot it into your vein you would get the shock of your life, literally...
ive even had to resort to actually dissolving product in front of some and demonstrated to them with PH indicator that they have salt. watered down salt to increase weight and reduce cuttability. also the whole freezer thing shits me... "you gotta keep it in the freezer or the shit will melt and be ruined" my fucking dirty hairy asshole... methamphetamine hydrochloride and sulphate both having melting points in the three digit scale will not melt at room temp unless the sun decides to implode into a bloody supernova tommorrow!!!

so please mods STICKY THIS THREAD FOR THE MASSES OF STUPIDITY AND ARROGANCE.................. please ;)

Haha fair enough, I'm not going to sticky it I'm afraid (no one reads stickies anyway) but you do have a point, base in the UK is almost always amphetamine sulphate with a load of crap mixed in..

I'm going to close this because the OP is unlikely to come back and check it and I'm not sure what else there is to say, but I'm not going to tell you off for grave digging, hehe...
