☠ WARNING ☠ Warning: Mislabeled Batch of 2C-B-Fly That Has Caused Deaths

GC/MS should be forthcoming from multiple sources.

Tragic as this young man's death is, it's really good to see the community rally around this issue to spread the word and to find out what exactly is going on here, even if most of the rallying is going on "behind the scenes." It's important stuff, guys.

Let us not forget that we are guinea pigs; no-one can seriously say that the RC game is safe, and this is a morbid reminder of the precautions that we had all ought to be taking when dealing with unknown and cutting edge compounds ... seek out the classic threads in PD to understand what these are.

Well, I'm alive

Somehow, I'm still here.

Right now approx. +15:30 from ingestion of unknown quantity.

Was just discharged after 8 hrs. of observation in the E.R.

All they could do was monitor my vitals and pump me up with some valium.

Don't know why I'm still here, but I am. It sure feels like I shouldn't be.

Although, I'm a bit afraid to go to sleep...what do u guys think?

That's good to hear. :) Everyone who has died so far has died from within that time frame about, so you're probably safe. How do you feel? Are you still really high?

I don't know if high is the right way to put it...not right would be more accurate. Like, I'm not tripping, but I definitely still feel like I have poison inside of me.

I didn't want to leave the hospital but they made me...

Disorientation, Massive cold sweating, Extreme tachycardia, blood pressure skyrocketing...

if I wake up alive in the morning, I am flushing every rc I own, and will never have been happier to do so

my dose was unknown. I weighed out the bag and then lipped the remaining residue on the scale tray. I suppose it could have been anywhere from 1-10 mg :s

Yar, good scale practice is where it's at ;)

It's up to you, but are you sure you want to do that. This is a somewhat isolated case. What about the ones you've dabbled in before and know they're the real deal?

I know I'm very much not going to flush any of my stuff because of this thread. ;)

Do you have any antipsychotics? That sounds a lot like my DOB overdose, actually...

I flushed $3600 worth of goods that night, some many years ago. I can't tell you if it's the right thing to do or not, but I did.

I'm not a praying man, but I'm sending good thoughts your way, man, and hopefully these negatives are mostly just in your head and you'll be fine. If they found nothing wrong at the hospital, chances are you'll be okay. I really think you will.

Hospitals don't always have the best interest of the drug user in mind, especially in cases where the user may have to explain most of the details (of the drug) to the medical official because they're unknowledgeable....that is -- if you take the honest and upfront approach.

I brought in the bag and it's now with the hospital's toxicologist.

U guys have to understand though I live in a foreign country and I was fighting through the language barrier throughout this entire incident. I wrote down erowid and bluelight for them, put the vendor's name and site, and told them the name of the supposed chem...

so...part of me wants to stay awake and part of me realllly wants to sleep. but i don't know what to do...

and, no, i have no antipsychotics...my pills at the moment include aspirin and vicodin and nothing else

If you can sleep I'd get some rest... Not sleeping could further exacerbate your blood pressure/tachycardia. I wish I could have slept through any bit of my DOB experience, but it was pretty well a full 36 hours without rest and I was still at a +1 at work the following day.

If you're super concerned and alone you could just go back to the hospital and hang out in the lobby or something I suppose, as the hospital generally won't make you leave or anything so far as I know as long as you aren't disruptive. That way you'd be right there if you needed some help. I think you'll be okay, though.

glad to hear you're ok.
i don't think you should really worry about needing to stay awake 16h past ingestion. they wouldn't have discharged you if your vitals weren't completely ok
