☠ WARNING ☠ Warning: Mislabeled Batch of 2C-B-Fly That Has Caused Deaths

The RC vendor's website's structure for the so called 2cbfly indicated saturation on the outer furan rings.

I thought that was a typo at the time, but who knows.
 
The fly is supposed to have saturated wings. Dragonflys have unsaturated wings (double bonds in the furans). Flys have single bonds.

Anyway it seems 2cb-fly has been taken off from the site, but all the other chems are still being sold? It seems someone is taking care of the business...
 
i just noticed that too.. I didn't think it was just him running the place. It totally sucks whats happened to everyone involved in this. My heart goes out to the families who've lost their loved ones to this. No one could of predicted this to happen.

Just got more info. Apparently, the 2cb fly is from a website that the owner of the website died from a tainted batch, months and months ago. The batch that was received by the person I knew was the same batch. The person who ordered it always does extensive research before trying anything and for some reason death did not pop up in his initial research. It only was found today.

I can corroborate Love's story and provide some more details. swiwe received half a gram of 2C-B-fly from *the vendor* saterday morning, using a fairly accurate scale swim carefully weighted out what he thought was a moderate dose of 10mgs for himself, about 9-10 for his brother and five mgs for his girlfriend. About an hour after ingestion swims girl experienced overwhelming effects and intense gastrointestinal disturbances. Soon swims bro followed suit and then swim too was in mild discomfort. At first swims bro stated he just wanted to come down, he was having no fun at all. then he went almost catatonic and stopped responding except to smile and bop his head to the beat of the music. After a few more hours swims bro started to seize and the paramedics were called. Unfortunately the could do nothing and swims brother died right there on the floor. Swim and girl were carted of to the hospital highly restrained where swim had a very intense and dark trip that lasted until sleep sunday night. Sorry if I broke any rules or forum edicate, this is my first post and I am in a highly agitated state right now. I just want the truth to get out

No one deserves to die and certainly not this way. And I also feel really bad for his family & friends. But the source's actions were deeply wrong, preventable and caused the death of at least one other person, apparently. If he had survived, I'm sure everyone wouldn't be as "understanding" as they are now :\

It is possible. The toxicologist has the bag. They will probably test it. It caused tons of vomiting and lasted for a very long time. 30 hours for guy who received the 2cb fly. 24 hours for his girlfriend. It was extremely intense visually. Totally out of the universe. It took hours to kick in, but once it did, it came hard and fast.
 
I'm so sorry for your loss. We've been trying to put a warning on every website we can think that a person would go for information about it before measuring their dose. Do you know where your friends checked before hand (if they checked anywhere)? Maybe we could put up a warning on that site, and prevent more deaths.

Wikipedia is being resistant though, because we don't have a media source.
 
i may have accidentally ingested some of this about 5 1/2 hours ago?!?!?!?!? helpp!!!! what do I do???
 
And with this thread....

I am personally finished with consuming random powders from online vendors.

I'll stick to eating doses of LSD procured through friends and family.

There is like a 6 hour delay on it. How much do you think you took?

If its anything over like 1mg I'd get your ass to a hospital while you are still functioning.

We don't know exactly what's causing the toxicity so it's impossible to know where to go from here. It does seem more lethal in higher doses from what we've been told. I would get to a hospital and tell them to supportively monitor your vitals and ask them to administer an antipsychotic in case the toxicity is related to serotonin agonism (unless you have an antipsychotic laying around, which I'd possibly advise taking).

But, yeah, get to the ER. At least they'll be able to attempt salvage therapy in the event your heart begins to fail. You might want to direct them to that erowid page and this forum thread.
