It's World Vegetarian Day

Kenickie-- Get out! I wish I had known that this morning. I'm a veg anyway, but I would have mentioned it at work or something.

Red-- Yup, just those who want it to be. :)
 
I wasn't informed, so I'm eating a steak burrito right now. :D But I don't eat meat 90% of the time, so its somebody else's turn to be a vegetarian today.
 
Just thought I'd add, I don't have anything against vegetarians. If not eating meat is part of your values or lifestyle, then more power to you! I just don't appreciate the preachy types who want everyone else to become vegetarians too... I rate them on par with evangelical Christians.
 
Agreed, I was just poking a bit of fun is all. Do what you like; I know that I sure will!
 
I'll be eating vego!

(mainly because I squandered my pay this fortnight on weed and beer, whittling it down until I only had enough to stock up on pasta, garlic, onions, tomato and cheese to last me until next pay)

The day when vegetarians are just as vegetarian as any other day?
 
^ Nah, I think it's more like a silly "Earth Hour" event where everyone is pressured to join in. I celebrated Vegetarian Day by eating a large steak, just as I celebrated Earth Hour by switching on every light in the house.
