Liquid LSD different chemical?

I have had liquid lsd on several occasions, but tried some recently that felt a bit different to normal. Seemed to take a bit longer to come on than usual, and rather than seeing loads of crazy fractals and patterns moving about everywhere, it was more like colours were just a bit brighter, and moving around a little bit. The time before I had 2 drops and it was definitely lsd, really nice strong fractals, but 3 of his other liquid acid, was weaker and not as many fractals and truly crazy stuff happening. Off the same person aswell, I was wondering, Is it possible to get adulterants of liquid LSD. Possibly DOx liquid or something?? Or is it more likely down to tolerance? Just wondering, I know acid trips are different nearly every time, could it just have been different LSD with different effects?

Its not uncommon to be sold DOx when its claimed to be LSD
 
Liquid LSD can be diluted/adulterated just the same as any other drug. Personally I have had blotter than blows any liquid I've had outta the water... and vice versa too, if that makes any sense... What I mean is that acid is acid. The exact same dose from the same sheet/bottle may have profoundly different effects due to set/setting, but if you're sure it's acid then I'd suggest set and setting would account for the subjective differences you may have noticed :)
 
It did seem to last a bit longer than normal yeah, although not as strong. Next day i felt sort of the same, just a bit weaker, not proper tripping though. I was able to sleep fine about 9 - 10 hours after ingesting though. Is this normal if you took DOx? I was a bit suspicious aswell becuase we have bought it twice off this guy, but only about 5 drops at a time, and it was amazing acid. Then this 3rd time we bought a 50 drop bottle, and it felt a bit different. Is there more money to be made with DOx, is it a cheaper chemical to produce or anything, and this could be possible?
 
Yes mate, its pretty cheap, easier to get hold of from a lab legally well legally where they make it. Its not a very good thing to do to people though. Adulterated substances just plain suck.
 
from what i've read, DOxs last quite a long time, so it could have just been diluted/weaker acid.
 
If you were able to sleep after 10 hours it is very highly unlikely that is DO*. Was the liquid exposed to heat and/or sunlight? If so the potency could have been affected. More than likely though it was just less potent acid to begin with.
 
Yeah is most likely it was LSD, possibly down to tolerance, because some friends were saying it was great acid, and the last 2 times it has been good liquid off the guy, unless he diluted it a bit before selling the 50 drops possibly. Maybe tolerance though?? I think i had acid 3 weekends in a row, would this effect tolerance much, or should you wait longer inbetween to get the same effects?
 
wow.. just thinking back.. hehehe.. i haven't had acid in like 8 years..
but, i remember that different dosage levels can be quite different experiences.. it goes on up too.. :-) i heard from a friend a while back that he took 2000ug in one dose and had a different time as well.. he was still able to function - i don't know if i would be... heh...
several times i have taken like 1 shroom cap and had a time like what OP describes - brightened colors etc.. you don't say how much you took on this different trip...?
this reminds me - i know a guy who was at a rave in the city (SF) - there were people making crystal into gel in a bowl - he took his finger and scooped a bit up, like cake batter and ate it - he described to me the state he ended up in - extreme visuals where he only caught brief glimpses of police - him punching EMTs - the ambulance - then the hospital... so there can be such thing as too much... ;-)

LSD is a precisely defined molecule, so there can't be a "different" LSD - if anything can be called LSD, it has to have the same structure as all other LSD molecules. (isomerism notwithstanding)

A related story: last summer, I took two trips from the same batch of mushrooms. Both doses were between 1 and 1.5 grams. The first one was serene and meditative, and the second one was wild and paranoid. An experience of the effect of set and setting.

Same batch doesn't mean anything unless you can confirm the mushrooms were grown from an isolated strain. Sporegrown mushrooms can and will vary mushroom to mushroom in potency, alkaloid ratios etc.
 
if its bitter than most likely its an rc, especially if takes like 2 hours b4 visuals set in and you have major cramps and gas on it.
 
Reading this thread I would venture a guess that it is acid only weaker and the set & setting made a difference. Trips can just change from time to time like people can (for that exact reason).
 
I've never had two trips being the same. They always bring something different to the table. No matter where I am, though I try and stay in safe, familiar places when I go bonkers. What it sounds like is that you got some diluted LSD, which is the same as weak blotters.. when dealing with weak product, test the waters for the common ground between the strong and and the weak. You don't want to go ahead and munch down on 8drops, thinking it'll be around the same as when you took 3 of the other batch. When it comes to LSD, set and setting is the number 1 factor on the trip
