i think the mel is the perfect venue for this, too...to have it at tru or anywhere else would kind of take away from the grimeyness that will no doubt take place. and, ironically, that's the first day i can get as wasted as i want to without fear of legal repurcussions...

Get educated and indoctrinated into the world of Dubstep, Happy Hardcore and other eclectic forms of electronic dance music. Guest DJs appear every week, providing an ever-changing array of styles and sounds to admire and make you dance. Don’t be shocked if at first you’re not familiar with the music; these folks are doing their own thing.

Many local producers play their original remixes and productions, so the likelihood of hearing something you heard on the radio is about 5 percent at best. People come to JUXTAPOZE open to the idea that the DJ is an artist, not a jukebox, and that alone makes the crowd and the event different.

If you’re willing to try new things and explore new sounds, JUXTAPOZE is a great way to spend a Tuesday night, friends.

appreciate the shout from Rusty...but yeah, HHC? Guess it was to relate to everyone else that has no idea of the types of EDM available

Not even Turtle played that when he was out last :D

easy on the genre hate. We can't do that, some don't like dnb and dubstep ;) I can't stand the stuff personally but if it'll bring paying patrons in the door, I'll book it. I'd be out back the whole set with you but whatevs
 
regardless of the misnomer there is no such thing as "bad publicity"...instead of focusing on the HHC flub be grateful that rusty went out of his way to plug Juxt without any prompting other than enjoying himself when he came out to play.

to me...that in itself speaks volumes. everybody involved with juxt should be proud to be a part of something that is truly becoming special to many people, not just us.

makes me smile :)
