its fuckin scary huh...

i was woken up by my work phone's alarm, which i didnt even remember setting... and its fuckin red outside...

i thought we had been bombed or something...

cant wait to walk to the station in my white, soon to be red shirt!
 
I woke up and my room was glowing red. I went downstairs and the wind was insane. Very god damn eerie. It was a lot more red half hour ago though. Now it's more orange.
 
Earthquakes in Melbourne... this orange shit in Sydney... WTF! Earth off axis? Satan's spawn has arisen? The whole thing is just a bit too weird for me haha.

This is gonna be a strange day boys and girls.

Am I the only one who just shrugged, thought, that's strange - a dust storm in Sydney, got in the car and went to work?

I got caught in a dust storm in Wagga Wagga once and then it started pissing down and it was raining mud!

My work is fucking dumb, we just got told to sit in our trucks on site and not do anything until further notice - which never came. Another team and ours went in to the local community centre and watched DVDs but I was bored and sick so I just went home at lunch. The wind was blowing my car around a lot on the bridge and in city which made the drive interesting.

I want it to happen again tomorrow so I have an excuse not to go to work.

Er, did you look at the sky at any point after 8am Mr St Clare? :| The sky has been thick with dust since then, it's been reeking havoc on my asthma and hayfever. Urgh, I feel so congested. :!
 
I'd already been to the gym and was just finishing up my pool session at 7.30.

No I'm having a couple of tallies of coopers...... go figure.
 
Found out today that one of my favourite couples got engaged last night and another of my favourite couples have broken off their engagement. I'm kind of conflicted here (smile thread? frown thread?) so I'm in this thread instead. The dilemmas.

This is what it was like in Egypt and Libya

That is a large part of the reason why they don't clean anything over there, there is a dust/sand strom every second week. Even in the best of times there are dust and sand particles floating around.
 
I have a lab report due in 3.5 hours, and I only started it 2 hours ago. Once thats done, I am off for a fortnight. Woo!

You know, even though it's mostly dead in here I can't spend more than 10 minutes trying to care about The Lounge. I'll spend ten minutes reading a thread full of pointless vapidity and then hate myself for wasting time I could be reading or something.
