2009-2010 fantasy football (NFL)

i completely forgot about the draft tonight and got auto picked
im in a 6 man league with no money at stake though so its no big deal

i should have my team finalized by wednesday and ill post my team then

Hey GM-

One problem for Edwards is his offensive line is incredibly inexperienced and with Langston Walker getting released, they're even more inexperienced now.

On top of the coordinator being fired and the push to being a no-huddle team...there are a lot of unknowns for the Bills. Granted...they clearly have good talent at the skill positions and it could work out, but the oline is worrisome.

Also, if Donald Brown is somehow still available, I'd definitely pick him up as a handcuff to Addai....and I think Jerome Harrison is ahead of Davis on the depth chart.

Don't I know it. I figure if I just keep saying the Bills will do well X year, it'll happen eventually. =D

I should be able to grab Donald Brown off the waivers. I'm hoping that Davis shows up early and hard and overtake's Jerome Harrison's spot. We'll see though.

T-Minus 34 hours! Woot!

Peyton Manning, Ind QB
Steven Jackson, StL RB
Frank Gore, SF RB
Anquan Boldin, Ari WR
Brandon Marshall, Den WR
Wes Welker, NE WR
Lee Evans, Buf WR
Titans D/ST, Ten D/ST
Ryan Longwell, Min K

Marshawn Lynch, Buf RB
Darren McFadden, Oak RB
Jonathan Stewart, Car RB
Trent Edwards, Buf QB
Cadillac Williams, TB RB
Devery Henderson, NO WR
Bears D/ST, Chi D/ST

I dropped Davis and picked up Mike Bell. If Pierre Thomas' injury keeps him out Sunday Bell should get a good share of the touches backing up Reggie Bush.

eh, weve only got 6 teams in the league so everybody has a kick ass team.

^yeah on that line...the WRs could use a little help. Who is on the waiver wire?

man peterson dominated the browns. a bit bittersweet since i'm a browns fan, but having peterson as my #1 back... shieeet! he brought the pain today. 47 points for me!

Of course Devin Hester has a great game when I bench him. Desean Jackson didn't do nearly as well for me. Now that McNabb is out with broken ribs I'm not even sure I'll keep Jackson.

Dropped Arizona Head coach and picked up Saints head coach.

Dropped Dallas defense and picked up Redskins defense.

I can't decide whether to start DeSean Jackson or Anquan Boldin this week. Boldin didn't do jack last week and he's still struggling with a hamstring injury.

DeSean Jackson would be my definite starter because the Eagles are playing the Saints next week and they're going to have to air the ball up a lot if they want to keep up with Drew Brees and the gang. HOWEVER, McNabb is out with busted ribs and I just read today that Jackson was limited in practice today because of a groin injury which, while it doesn't sound too serious, is a new development nonetheless.

not sure on the defense move

It was a pretty easy choice even if it's only short-term. Dallas is playing the Giants this week and the Redskins are playing the Rams. =D

Plus the rest of the Redskin's schedule is a lot easier than Dallas'. I guess I'll just take it week-by-week for now.

I do not know how well the skins d looked though and I think Dallas handled Tampa pretty well. The Giants WR core is GONE

^Even if the Dallas D held Tampa, is that really saying much right now? It's hard to say if Tampa is any good, and going into the season they looked like a team that could be in the bottom 3rd. (sorry atri)

The Dallas D is pretty good, but I don't think it's the kind of defense that shuts teams down. The Giants will find holes in it and I think the Giants D will help out wth that by limiting the Cowboys offense.

Meanwhile, the Redskins are facing one of the worst offensive teams in the league. Granted, they did lose to the Rams last year on the very same field, so there may be that issue, but I think the 'Skins are just waiting to pound the Rams, whereas last season they may have overlooked them.

Welp, Defenses in our league get points by getting turn-overs, sacks, and holding the other team to a low score.

The Giants offense line is beast, so Dallas won't get many sacks. The Giants are also a run team, so that will also limit Dallas sacks as well as lower the chances of an interception. The Giants have also proven they can score when they need to.

The Rams on the other hand simply suck so the Redskins should be able to get plenty of sacks and the chances of an interception or a shutout is pretty good.
