Bud dropped in Candle wax. HOW DO I CLEAN IT?

I have/had some very very potent white widow and my gf dropped it into candle wax :!

Is there anyway to melt the wax off the bud so I can still smoke it? Its only a gram but its very dry right now and i have been saving this helpless bud for sometime now and want to put it to use instead of smoking the keif ive saved for the past month.

ideas needed
 
Just brainstorming here: You could always think about making some (admittedly waxy) cannabutter/oil out of it.. Perhaps in the process you can separate the wax. Seems like in any case you'd have to heat it up to separate bud from wax... a vape might work but then you'd probably ruin your vape and inhale some nasty fumes.
 
If the wax is dry can you just break if off? Maybe just rip off the part of the weed that hasn't touched the wax and throw the waxy part out.
 
Maybe freeze? could be the wax would break off? sounds like you lost out on this one.

I would just ditch that G and buy another bag of dank if I were in your shoes though. Based on you having a sizable kief collection I imagine its not hard for you to find a new bag of heads, no?

the candle was lite when the bud dropped into the candle, so the wax sorta got all into the bud itself (wasnt a compressed bud by anymeans)

yeah thats what i did as soon as it happend, but still wont break off

I have a PHX.. i mean if i smoke it nothing bad would happen to me or the bong itself, right?
not going to make cannibutter out of 1 nugget.. and i prefer to smoke my herb, not eat it
 
make some hash oil using isopropyl alcohol and the wax will float to the top (just scrape it up with a credit card or something) and let the alcohol evaporate. now you got some fuckin crucial oil made from white widow
 
just tried to smoke it.. and let me tell you i almost fell on the floor with disgust.. i still have a horrible taste in my mouth and a weird head rush. (i didnt even fill the beaker with smoke.. it was such a pussy hit)

DO NOT SMOKE BUDS THAT HAVE CANDLE WAX ON THEM! i trashed it immediately.

I honestly would have just tried to break it up/off. Salvage what was possible. Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and go though.

Its hard moving on.
 
Next time (if there is one :) ), eat it. Make some butter and the wax will be evenly distributed throughout. Less wax, and an oral high!
 
im really suprised that no one suggestd to dip it in boiling hot water as thc is not water soluble and you only need to get the wax to melt and collect on top the water but seems to late now. sorry bud
