The Seedy & Scattered Sunday thread, ver. I don't recognise this feeling anymore!

So I did a search and the old one is three years old over here THE Seedy & Scattered Sunday Thread.

I'm fully aware today is Monday but I wasn't quite functioning properly to create this thread yesterday.
Had plans to get to the bellingen Jazz festival and play up there but never quite made it past Suffolk Park.

We had to use the neighbours wheelie bins for our excess bottles we couldn't fit.
My liver hurts and a few brain cells astray but I'm sure they'll come back.

I need a few days off work, but it's not an option right now.

Yesterday hurt. A result of drinking vodka, butterscotch schnapps and cranberry juice. Yes, all from the same glass at the same time. It seemed like a bad idea at the time but drunk leecie overrode sober leecie and I drank it down (along with some killer shots like a redheaded slut - jager, butterscoth and cranberry).

I kinda feel back to normal today, but may indulge in McDonalds for lunch anyway.

Got blind with the family on Saturday lunch; then got invited to a BBQ and proceeded to drink most of a bottle of vodka and loads of cider. Stumbled home at about 2am and tried to sleep all morning. This failed, so I started drinking not alcohol (well it is technically 2 ethanol molecules jammed together. Draw your own conclusions). That *sort of* made the hangover go away, but by 7pm I was hungover all over again.

This is why I don't drink. Stoopid hangovers.

I didn't get home until 8AM. I was absolutely wrecked :)
 
Has anyone tried those tablets that you can get from the pharmacy that supposedly prevent a hangover?
 
I think I bought some from a vending machine once. Not because I thought they would work but because I thought it was funny. They didn't work.

I was huuuurting on Saturday but I powered on to my best friend's engagement party and then for a ridiculous bar hop until 4am Sunday.

I didn't see much of Sunday. I wish the laundry/ cleaning fairy would come to my house over the weekend and fix the mess that is my domestic life.
 
Ouch.

Sleep would be nice. Valium would be nice. Never thought a work christmas party would get that silly.
 
Worked Friday night, then went to Paul Dempsy and got blind in a very short time period.

Hungover Saturday, so hair of the dog. Then work till 12:30am. Then drank myself stupid in a similarly short period of time and passed out about 5am.

Woke up at noon to PAIN. Hair of the dog of the dog that bit me that bit me has either reversed my hangover, or, more likely, I am drunk again and can't feel aforementioned, multi-layered hangover.
 
Friday night was a nightmare...Ended up getting pissed, then the thought of going 4wd sprung to mind and everyone thought it was a good idea. Our sober mate drove with me sitting in the front and 4 people in the back.

We drove 30min's out of town to these bush track's and were having fun until we got bogged and what a mission that was to get the car free..When we were back on the track's i thought it was a good idea to climb onto the roof and lay there whilst bashing through the bush...

I don't remember much after this point except i can remember laying in a bush, floating in and out of consciousness with blood pissing out from this cut on the side of my head.. :(

My mate's wanted to take me to the hospital but i just wanted to go home, so ended up getting home, sleeping most of Saturday and waking up with a blood soaked pillow..

Feel fine now but fuck alcohol :(
 
i suggest you goto the doctor Joshie and still get it looked at !!

the fact you were in and out of consciousness can be a bad thing and if you have done any damage, could possibly kill you :(
