He was very public about not seeing eye to eye with senior staff, left, came back to be a lounge rat.

Kickass OD mod back in the day though.
 
There is a thread that pretty much sums it all up pretty well in The Lounge somewhere, its from a few months back.. I'm forgetting the title at the moment, maybe someone else knows?

If I can find it I'll PM it to you, its a pretty funny thread haha.

IMO I'm reading this thread, the whole time GM sounds like he's not even being half way serious the whole time, just trying to give positive criticism. He does sound blood thirsty in the same way, but I have a feeling he's just pissed at peoples inadequacies in the subject of expertise this website claims to be a representation of.

Then again, I am not actually criticizing anyone here; I think everyone here does a great job. GM actually said very rough things to some mods who have done a good job (at least from the posts I've seen from them recently - something GM hasn't seen) and so this makes me think, was GM being a dick, or did GM offer a lot of upper mods/admin constructive criticism and some benefited from it while others didnt? Maybe he was just being a dick. I can easily see that.

But at the same time, effectiveness sometimes requires bluntness, and utter frankness.

But this is really funny to read, some of the things GM says are making me LOL hard now, even if I have no idea who he's saying them about.

Yeah, I guess it's a little off topic.

I just had no idea about this chapter of BL. Plus GM seemed like such a good mod. Honesetly, all the mods here did. I have thoroughly appreciated posts by 6/7, sonic, GM, unknown, and leftwing. Sonic has since stepped down, and so has GM. I think that OD mods have an exceptionally challenging job here and I think we're all doing a great job with it.

I'm still working out the kinks...:|
