also, i heard people talkin on here about 'head zaps' after valium binges. i also get them off MDMA (pure) was wondering if theres a way to avid that side effect?
 
^ 'head zaps' will happen if you take a high dose of benzos for a prolonged period.

The only way to avoid them is either not to take high doses of benzos for prolonged periods or taper down gradually from your "binge". Even when tapering you may still get them tho.
 
i do get them on mdma mostly. ( at leat thats how i first "encounterd" them, but latley, ive been getting them after valium and xanax aswell. i was just wondering if anyone know wtf causes them, are they dangerous, and can u do anything to stop them? (part from stop taking drus LOL!)
 
Im torn between Roche Diazepams (Valium) or Roche Clonazepams (Klonopin).

If i had to pick 1 Id probably pick diazepam only because it seems to have that muscle relaxant effect and that unique euphoria & because it lasts so long, but it takes so damn much to get high off now adays considering how many weekends in a row I've taken benzos.

Clonazepam is close second because of its duration and sense of euphoria but it lacks the muscle relaxant effect Valium has.

Temazepam would be number 1 if the high lasted more than 15-30 minutes. (note: Temazepam is the active metabolite created by Diazepam)

The zaps imo are different to the MDMA headshocks.

They can happen at any time of the day, it's an actual "zapping" noise (like turning off an old tv but loud) and I found that when they were at their worst I actually lost a second or so whilst they happened. I'd be listening to a track and it would skip! Scary shit. I didn't do xanax that often either. Maybe 3/4 times a week for a month or so.

Totally. Like I say I've had three seizures, I've currently got a split running from my lip to my nose that I'm not too pleased about which A+E did a very good job of gluing together. I've now pinned it down to definitely being Xanax, the zaps seem to be some sort of indication that I'm going into seizure territory. My face looks set to heal but it's a fucking wake up call! Especially seeing as I didn't do much xanax but was triggering some of the worst withdrawal effects. It's a creeper!

Alright senior Mod Shambellringer, how much temazepam hits the spot?
I have always found it to be wank alone,but improves with Guiness.Never done something like 60mg for brekkie though,which I fully expect you have!
 
Is hard to discuss whilst taking HR into account... Similar amounts to those you mention in combo with too much booze hits the spot though ;)

HR: It also often ends up in hospitalisation, arrest and/or sectioning... ;)

Is a subjective thing. Temazis are just pure euphoria to me and many others. For other others they do shit all. Regularly voted #1 euphoric benzo by users though. Funny stuff... Fuckin' great if it does it for ya though - there's a reason why there are loads of one-armed Scotsmen =D
 
Sectioning doesn't happen if you get someone to lock you into your own flat and come back the next day;)
Whats HR.......Human resources is all I can think of:\
Temaz comes on quick so I can control it,lorazepam comes on really slowly eg over about 2hours and this in combo with all the alcohol has led to my hospital record enlargening:| Not anymore though.
However I haven't had temazepam for months........perhaps when I break my drink sabbatical I might get some and wear a kilt made from a table cloth;)
 
And lose and limb to gangrene if ya want to do it properly, BB :D

When it comes to drugs of euphoria and addiction short-acting wins everytime. Just like there's a reason Scots lost arms to temaz there are reasons junkies choose smack over methadone ;)

HR = Harm Reduction. It's what we're all here for ;)

& 30mg Restoril capsules are yummy :) Definately one of the most euphoric benzos.
 
midazolam

midazolam, i have a iv of this during a gastroscopy its was luvly, i even ask for more when the finished.

recovery room was fun giggling to myself farting and burping after the inflated my stomach for the procedure.


Recently had some 1mg zanaz purples from Thailand, yum yum with some wine and a spliff.

I've never noticed any withdrawals from benzos, really, except some problem sleeping and heightened anxiety (the reason I'm on them) and I've been doing them 3-4 times a week for about 4 years. I can run out without too much discomfort. I guess everyone is different. I had to do the big no-no and dab some diazepam powder, last night, as I had nothing to dilute it with, and some stressful shit has gone on. I'm not sure how much I had, but it knocked me out after a while, but not before feeling really nice. Never had a problem with combining booze and benzos. Don't have black outs and act strange. I'm glad about that.
 
Xanax hit me really hard when I got some in Cambodia; maybe I was just tired and worn down at the time, but it was rather snoozy and mongy at times. Was fucking nice getting a massage from a hot khmer chick, monged out of my mind watching cartoon network haha... i literally could barely move afterwards, felt like jelly. I did go out drinking on it too, and I found even 0.5mg mixed with a few beers really got me pretty buzzed...

Had a few valium recently, and my GOD they are good for hangovers/comedowns, i've had them before but the 10mg ones are so useful when you feel crap in the morning. Had a few grimey starts at festivals with not enough sleep and they've sorted me right out, n last ages... never had any problem drinking/doing K with them either. Floaty wonk =D Stayed up all night on some nice base and a blue put me right into the land of nod afterwards, was kinda surprised! :)
 
Diazepam is the ultimate hangover cure, but take them before you go to sleep and you won't even have to deal with the hangover in the morning. Just wake up feeling refreshed.

xanax is very notourious for causing severe forgetfullness in high doses. Its basically what i call 'black-out mode' and you end up doing stupid shit and you wont remember ANY OF IT, your friends will tell you what you did and you will just be like "oh my god i seriously don't remember any of that" but that only happens when you pop like higher doses that you are not used to.

Yeah, I did about 40mg of xanax and a bottle of vodka in a day during G WDs. That certainly caused a blackout, and luckily not my death. Thank God for kicking the G.
